Prologue
Deep down upon the ocean floor, just above the endless dark abyss, lies a civilization filled with sea creatures. From near and far these sea creatures live together in complete harmony. This civilization is known to its inhabitants as the City of Gala and it’s a home like no other.
Every morning at the break of dawn when the sun rises up and its light shines upon the city, the clam family begin to sing their daily ‘Good Morning’ song. This song graciously lures all the sea creatures outside of their homes as they sing along with the harmonies. In doing so, the atmosphere is thus filled with the most positive vibes, bringing joy and happiness to everyone who hears it.
With such overwhelming emotions sprawling within, the sea creatures are unable to resist such a beautiful rhythm. Everyone in the vicinity then twirls their bodies around as they elegantly dance to the beat with tingling spines until their hearts content.
Once the song inevitably comes to an end, all the city’s inhabitants carry on to their daily lives. Gala is full of vast complex creatures—who all are undeniably unique in their own respective ways. Each one of the species use the environment in how they see fit to forge themselves a place they can call home.
The sea creatures within the city limits strive to maintain a sense of security, to keep their loved ones safe from the treacherous open ocean. Outside the city limits, sea creatures are constantly in a flux—ripping each other apart—all fighting just to survive in these harsh times.
However, there are some species that prefer to travel in packs. While some want to only cause nothing but mischief and grief, others are constantly on the move trying to protect themselves from the dangers of the world. Anyone who’s foolish enough and dares to travel alone out there is in for a fight of their life. If one isn’t careful, they will end up being someone else’s meal or worse.
