The Smile
Amongst the crowd,
there she stood,
with that enchanting smile wore she
just to make em all believe and take it in
that she was fine.
But oh,
how many of us could see through that smile
those dark secrets it carried.
‘Made my day, the smile’ they’d say,
couldn’t help noticing it.
Isn’t is just lovely
How much a smile can conceal ?
Questions, how many one can avoid.
Now she wonders,
would that day ever dawn
when those dark secrets behind that smile
are deciphered...
