Everleigh ( pic up-top):

It's been a couple weeks, maybe around two months, since I've moved to America with my boyfriend, Dan to join a new pack.

If I'm honest, I wish I didn't go... I'm not even sure why we had to leave in the first place, but Dan insisted.

My day starts at six am, I slowly get out of bed, to make sure I do not wake up Dan because I fear of what he would do. But because of his drunk/ hungover state, I'm safe this morning. I walk up to

Rose's room and wake her up. I get her ready quietly and make her a quick breakfast, then I drop her off at my neighbour's house. Even if I am a wolf and heal fairly quickly, when it comes to Dan's beatings I just can't handle it, my wolf isn't strong enough.

My neighbours don't know what goes on at home if you can call it that. They wouldn't even know we are wolf's since they are just basic humans.

Every day I cover up the cuts and bruises from the day before with makeup as best as I can, like today. They fade quickly but are still very visible for a day or two, they are always there as I get new ones to decorate my skin every night.

I got dressed and ran to my work in the little coffee shop a couple blocks away from the apartment. It felt nice to run even if I wasn't in my wolf form.

I've been working at The Sugarplum for three weeks now and I also worked at a restaurant for three nights a week.

Anyway, I arrived to put my apron on and started my shift.

It was lunchtime, the busiest time of the day, I was running around serving and taking orders.

I was serving a table with two parents and two children. I couldn't help but smile at them. They were so adorable and all seemed happy and you could feel the love coming from them. I wish I had that. I have it with my daughter I love her to bits, and I would do anything for her to be safe and happy. They were just simple humans making me wish I had the life they had with out all the wolf complications added to it.

I walked up to them with a smile.

"Hello and welcome to The Sugarplum, I'm Everleigh.

What can I get for you?"

I smiled at them and wrote down their order. The kids were laughing and before I walked off I spoke up.

"I'll get some crayons for the kids to play with. I know the wait can be long for them."

"Thank you, that's very thoughtful of you. Do you have kids?" The mother asked.

"Yes, I do. A little girl named Rose."

"How lovely! How old?"

"She's turning three in five months."

But before she could say something back I was called by my manager, Mary, who wanted me to wait for another table.

"I'm sorry, duty calls! I'll be back with the crayons and

your drinks."

And I left.

Ash Mortimer:

The boys and I, just finished getting information from

some rogue that trespassed in our territory. We were currently driving in the "no mans land" that isn't claimed by any pack since it was bang right in the middle of my territory. I never bothered to claim it since the majority of that town is composed of humans.

"Ash... I'm hungry......"

"Me too...."

"Me three... can we get some food?"

"Stop whining the three of you!"

"But please !"

"Ok ok! Stop it! If we go get something to eat will you

stop Whining?"

"Yes!"

All three of them said in unison.

Those are my men, my most trusted ones: Carter,

Louis and Paul but one of them was missing, Ray.

We stopped at the first dinner/ coffee shop. We came

in and sat at one of the tables. There were some wolfs here that were rogues but never dared to trespass on my territory, they know that I am one of the toughest Alpha's of the USA.

That's when I saw her. A beautiful angel, with her flowing blond locks and her piercing green eyes, her smile that lights up the room.

My mate. I finally found her after all this time.

"Hello, gentlemen! What can I get for you today?"

My thoughts were taken by this beautiful creature and her angelic voice.

Mate, mate, mate! Talk to mate! Touch mate!

My wolf chanted in my mind getting me distracted.

"I'll get the fries, burger, chocolate milkshake, oh and the chocolate Sunday,"

Paul said and the boys continued asking all that was on the menu, not paying attention to my inner battle.

"All right and for you sir?" her smile looked so beautiful.

Talk to mate, please. Get to mate.

"Just a black coffee." Was all I could muster out.

"Ok, black coffee. Nothing else for you?" Her eyes sparkling.

"No." I shot back.

"I'll add a chocolate brownie too." She insisted.

"No."

I stated again, but I could see her caring side.

She will make a great Luna.

"You'll thank me after."

And she just left before I could tell her otherwise.

I don't know if she realises she is our mate. My wolf whined in my mind.

"Are you alright Alpha?" Carter asked concern seeing me spacing out.

I shook my head focusing on what the boys were talking about.

"She is really pretty." Louis leaned back on his chair to follow her with his eyes.

I growled lowly not liking how he was looking at her.

"Mine." I growled a little louder.

All their eyes turned to me in shock.

"You found her." Carter spoke his voice almost a whisper.

Before they could make any more comments she reappeared with our orders.

"Could I have your brownie since you don't want it.." Paul pipped up breaking the silence.

"No, you ain't having it, Paul!" I growled.

I need to know more about her, she's something else.

I was enjoying my brownie when I got a mind link from Ray that stayed at the pack while we were off.

"We need you back here." Was all he said before cutting the link off.

"Let's go." I told the boys, standing up.

The boys and I got up and left. I left a huge tip for her and paid the bill making our way back to the pack.

My heart tugged a little having to leave her but she didn't react to me whereas I have to her. I have spent so much time finding her and now that I have I never want to let her go. But for the time being my pack needs me.
