Luna With Green Eyes (Draft)

It really is a hot summer day for moving. I sigh to myself, grabbing one of my boxes out of the moving truck. I walk upstairs to my room, placing the box beside my new bed.

"Hey Cressa, I got one of your boxes mixed up with mine." My twin brother Cage says, placing it next to the one I just put down. "Thanks bro, sorry for not labeling it better." I smile cheekily up at him, not truly sorry.

He smirks down at me playfully "If we ever move again, please do better at it." He lifts up the lid to the box, revealing my panties and bras. "Omg Cage!" I hit him playfully, blushing like crazy, that's so freaking embarrassing! "Hey, I wasn't the one that didn't label it as hers!" He chuckles like his innocent, raising up his hands in surrender, leaving my room.

I sigh heavily once he leaves, falling back onto my bed. I can't believe him, I blush slightly thinking to myself. Might as well fix my room up the way I want to distract myself from all that!

It was late in the afternoon by the time everyone had everything the way they wanted.

I went down to help my mom in the kitchen after fixing my room. "Hey baby! Wanna help me with cooking?" She says, pulling out a big pot. "Yeah sure, what we eating?" I ask, sitting down on one of the chairs.

"I was thinking spaghetti!" She smiles brightly while getting the noodles out of the cabinet. I giggle slightly, walking over to help her "Alright, sounds good to me."

My mom and I have a good relationship, she's very bubbly. At times I forget she's my mother, my family is kinda goofy crazy. But I love them all deeply.

I get a lot of my traits from my dad who I'm very close with. For as long as I can remember I have always been a daddy's girl.

We're a good-sized family, I have an older brother named Tristan, who will take the beta title once dad retires. Yep, I'm the daughter of the pack beta. It’s really not at all what it’s cracked up to be. I’ve had too many males sniffing up my skirt because of it.

I have a twin brother named Cage, who actually takes after our mom. Then we have our little sister Tala, she's our pride and joy. Also my favorite because she’s just the sweetest.

After mom and I get done cooking we call everyone in to eat.

“Oooo, It smells so good, girls!" My dad comes in hugging both of us. "It better tastes as good as it smells." Mom teases him, causing him to flash her a flirty grin, I look away from their kissing. No one wants to see that, thank you! I smile to myself at the thought of my own kids thinking the same thing one day.

I set the table, both my brothers come in chuckling at each other. "Oh wow, ma that smells good." Tristan says, taking a seat at the table. "Hey!" I playfully hit the back of his head.

"Your sister helped too." She says sweetly, helping Tala make a plate. "Yeah, sis is just as good as mom!" Tala defends cutely, taking a seat next to me. I kiss her cheek softly, making her smile up at me proudly.

Both my brothers laugh as they start to dig into their spaghetti. "Definitely tastes as good as it smells." My father says, taking a big bite, stirring everyone to laugh.

I cleaned up after dinner, leaving to go back up to my room, and lay out on my bed. That's usually how dinner goes in my family. I smile to myself, thinking about how much I love all of them dearly.

Letting the loving thoughts run through my head the door to my room opens. "Hey baby girl." My dad walks in and sits next to me on the bed. "Hey dad what's up?" I straighten up and smile at him softly.

He smiles back warmly saying "I wanted to thank you for helping out your mom today." I make a face and giggle slightly "You don't have to thank me, dad. I know the move has been a little tough on her even though she puts on a smile."I nudge my shoulder with his, trying to lighten the mood, which makes him chuckle.

"I know, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate you, and how proud I am of you. I know it wasn’t easy living with humans either." He looks at me softly, his eyes showing love. His words warming my heart "Thanks dad, means a lot." I smile, hugging him as I do so.

He hugs me back tightly "Your welcome baby girl." We hug for a bit longer before he pulls away to stand.

"Alright, get some sleep. We all have a big day tomorrow afternoon." He smiles down at me before walking to my door. "Alright, night dad." I smile at him before he leaves.

I get up and put pjs on before getting in under the covers. I hope tomorrow goes well, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen everyone. I hope Ash is doing better, I know he’ll be taking the Alpha title soon.

I get my phone to send him a text.

“Can’t wait to see you!”

I blush to myself, feeling like a thirteen year old girl again.

He instantly sends a text back.

“I’ve been doing my best to stay away all day! Dad says I need to give you space. Whatever that is…”

I giggle at his text, sending one right back.

“I’ll definitely see you tomorrow at the party! So wait a little longer my old friend!”

“Already getting friend zoned and we haven’t even seen each other yet! So cold Cressa! Lol, Can’t wait to see your beautiful green eyes again…”

I blush,

“Goodnight Ash try not to think about me too much!”

“No promises little beta.”

He knows I hate it when he calls me that! I growl, leaving him on read. Hah, take that! Despite myself my lips raise up in a happy smirk. It really is nice to finally be home.

The next day I got out of bed and took a long shower. Today the pack is throwing a big party for our return. I know, a little over bored right?

But our alpha is best friends with my dad, so he wanted to throw a party for him and our family’s return. My family and I just moved back into our pack. We, like every other werewolf and pack are having trouble with the human government, so not to show anything as a threat. All the betas from all the different packs had to fill in for their alphas. Which took a year to work out, it was crazy. Something I would also like to never do again!

Not all the humans I met were bad, most were actually just really curious and I made some friends. But there are a lot of hate groups everywhere, and more often than not I’d have people mess with me at the human school I had to attend for legal reasons.

But now that we're finally back, our pack is throwing us a welcome home party!

After I get out of the shower I go back to my room and put on a green simple looking dress. It shows off my figure very well, it also compliments my red curly hair.

Once I’m done checking myself out for a bit, I grab my makeup bag and get up close to the mirror. I grab both my mascara and clear lipstick. I'm not that big on going all out on makeup. I prefer that natural look more than anything, plus a lot of makeup makes me feel like I’m trying to be someone I’m not.

I put both on, fluttering my lashes as I look at myself in the mirror. I get my freckles from my mom, they're like splatters of paint across my nose. I smile to myself, loving how I look. I’m not the skinniest she wolf around, but I’m also not unhealthiest! Not too much and not too little, just right. I’m quite proud of myself!

"Stop checking yourself out and let's get going, they're waiting on us." Cage announces out of nowhere, leaning on my door frame, giving me a playfully smirk. "Alright, I’m coming." I roll my eyes walking over to him, linking my arm with his.

We head downstairs arm in arm, where the whole family is waiting for us by the door.

"Took you long enough." Tristan says with a playful smile on his full lips. "This one here was checking herself out." Cage teases in response, making me blush with embarrassment. I swear with these two, I’ll murder them in their sleep!

"No I wasn't." I nudge his shoulder slightly, causing everyone to laugh, even little Tala. In her cute little flower dress!

"Everyone ready then?" Father asks, dressed up in his nice suit, smiling at all of us happily.

We all say in unison "Ready!" With a nod, he opens the door.
