Hello, and welcome to HIRAETH, my new alternate universe BTS fanfiction! (The cover is an old version since the new one is apparently too small in pixel size :'( please bear with me while I try to fix it )
Before you begin reading, I would just like to say a few things, and please don’t skip because I’ll try to be quick, I promise.
First of all, HIRAETH is suitable for all audiences. It will contain some death, but it will not be described explicitly and so young readers can read the story freely. I will not warn you of character death as this will take away the tension and mystery elements of the novel. There will be no mature language as this topic is subverted in the alternate universe I have set this story in, and if you unsure of what this means than you will understand when you read the story. I am not planning on featuring any sexual content in this story at the moment, but if I do decide to include it in the story later on then I promise that it will not be described explicitly or I may just use a time skip when writing it into the chapters. There will be references to violence in this story, but, again, they are not so explicit that young readers cannot read this story.
Secondly, this story is set in an alternate universe in which the members of BTS are fictional beings rather than humans. The events of the story take place in Limbo, which can be regarded as the border between Life and Death, or the border between Heaven and Hell. In this story, it works in both contexts. Also, time works differently in this world - in Limbo, time passes much slower than it does on planet Earth.
This story was inspired by a writing prompt which I saw on the internet, and I’ll be honest I don’t remember exactly how it went, but it was something like this human vanishes in a puff of smoke and appears in this demon’s house who’s staring at an Ouija board and cursing because he wasn’t actually supposed to summon a human to his world. Anyway, if I find that writing prompt I’ll put in in here, but for now just know that there’s one out there that I used for inspiration.
