Chapter 1
Game OF Consequences
Out the blue the attack happened to me to mother and then we fell apart the apartment we lived in within the dictates of mother and daughter relationship was over the attack came from our family. Our failures and our dumb show now complex to them sheer enjoyments and if we did murder each other then they would not have to. The feeling was drove us mad before and would do so again. The doctrines of greed are that set and match each and then settle old scores until it is over and done with the skeletal remaining the remains of what used to be is the dishes which were washed and dried and the dry smiles which were settled as if with smelling salts. We don’t use smelling salts anymore we use the other stuff. Why it is a doctor why it is indeed why did you ask? The thing is what we need. For you I suppose? Not only for me we are all in need. Not enough attraction only does one at a time. She has been on me ever since I must be the most fascinating case ever. I am indeed to think it is a nerve hitting on another nerve. Homelessness poverty and being in the middle of the mafia has not hit them at all they have hardly noticed. I expect we did. The thinking behind all this is a marvellous good fortune for a writer. No deal we do not accept unsolicited scripts.
The thing is when I am in the throes of some thought the thinking is not done with good grace, I did not expect that Cyprus would be in my thoughts tonight.
As you said Cyprus became divided and so did you and your mum. So, is that the only connection? The recurring past does not let me rest as if driven by the past to make that somehow the sense I mean to make.
“Take what we can and leave it to dry.”
“No don’t take everything from me.”
“We will.”
They came to take what they did because they are robbers and bandits and thieves even now when they should know better and respect the law. They do not behave within the law.
“Law and tradition which is when we have the tradition you broke the trade off and now, we can make do with what we want.”
“Trade-offs?”
“You had to marry within the family in order to pay when you did not you broke the canon of the law.”
“I am not marrying anyone of you.”
“We shall see.”
“In order to pay for killing grandfather.”
“I did not kill him I kicked him and he died.”
“Where was his inhaler”?
“Grandmother took it.”
“There you go again putting the dirt in the face of all the old people.”
“I did not mean for granddad to die but he couldn’t work anymore so grandma being sensible had him put down.”
“That nice lady would never do such a thing.”
“Sure, I am certain of that she did not murder nine of her children eight of whom were two and a half the other one did not count as nine months.”
“Filthy language.”
“I did not think you had filthy thoughts about the family who brought you up.”
“Your dad was a homeless down and out because of his dad.”
“We wept when you too became a down and out.”
“I stayed in a hostel.”
“Look we thought you would not come back why did you?”
“Because it is nice to see you too.”
“So, having the cousinly stuff over with we went our separate ways.” I said to my good psychologist but my sister B is made of sterner stuff she must have kept in touch with the bitch.
