I watch as the man at the table in front of me talks about me.

“She’s the cruelest Alpha you’ll meet, she has no emotion to anything. Not even her sister. She decrowned the Werewolf King and left the kingdom to ruins. She’s a hot head alpha who doesn’t deserve her place.” He says to the other high ranking wolves around him with a smirk. I silently laugh to myself as I hear the things he’s spewing out. I turn to my Beta as I roll my eyes.

“This man I tell you, have you ever heard a more inconsiderate beta than him. I pity his Alpha.” I say as I look at the man again as he continues to talk trash about me.

“She has no mate, therefore no heir, so who else is to take her spot once she’s gone? I say we take her position and give it to someone more deserving of it.” He says as I stand up and walk towards his table, stopping right behind his chair, crossing my arms with a scowl on my face.

“Like who Beta Smith? Definitely not you I can assure, so do tell who is more deserving of my alpha title than me.” I growl out as I watch him turn towards me with a small smile.

“Someone like my Alpha, clearly you women can’t have a higher ranking position or you just go crazy with it.” He says as he turns back to his table with a chuckle.

“Your Alpha is an undeserving imp and deserves to rot in my dungeons. Make this a clear invitation to my cells if you don’t keep your mouth shut, if I hear anything about me coming out of your mouth again, you and your Alpha are heading straight to my cage. Got it.” I demand as he rolls his eyes in annoyance.

“And who is going to make that happen, you?” He asks sarcastically as he stands up and shakes off his jacket.

“I think I’ll have a better chance at being away from you to make conversations, now if you don’t mind.” He says as he starts to walk away but is stopped by my Beta.

“I’m afraid your not going anywhere Beta Smith, but with me.” My Beta, Link growls out as he pushes Beta Smith back into his chair. The people sitting around the table, scurrying off to who knows where.

“Seriously?” Beta Smith says as he rolls his eyes.

“You can’t do anything to me little girl, my Alpha won’t allow it.” Beta Smith growls out and I roll my eyes.

“Well I’m afraid your Alpha is a little busy at the moment, so unfortunately for you, I can do whatever I want. It seems today is just not your day.” I say as I punch him in the face, efficiently knocking him out. The wolves around us look on in horror as I pick the Beta up and sling him over my shoulder.

“The council will not be happy about this.” My Beta warns and I shrug, the Beta still on my shoulder.

“Let them loose it, they need to have something to do, after all who can sit in a blank room all day and listen to meaningless pack requests?” I ask and my Beta sighs.

“With all due respect Alpha, you must follow pack rules, even though you are an Alpha, you still are beneath other Alpha’s. Beta Smith’s Alpha as an example.” Link explains and I roll my eyes at my Beta’s words as we start to head down the walkway and towards the car.

“Well Beta Smith’s Alpha is a hot head, a feminist, and down right a jerk, he can go screw a camel before I ever follow his command. Beta Link, go have a good night, relax, spend time with your mate, I have some important things to do.” I say as I stop in front of our limo and throw Beta Smith inside.

“I’m afraid I can’t do that Alpha, someone has to talk some sense into you, otherwise you’d probably kill an entire pack. The council or yours?” Link asks as he gets into the drivers side, as I tie Beta Smith up from the back.

“Mine, I don’t want people to hear his screams.” I say simply as Link speeds off.

We arrive at my pack house in less than twenty minutes. Link has always been a fast driver, and tonight I am thankful for that.

“Help me get him out of the car, I have to dismiss the pack members from the room for a moment, wouldn’t want one of them to see another Alpha’s Beta in the pack, it would send the pack into chaos.” I say as I run up to the door and open it.

“All pack members, disperse from the commoners room, it is being held on lock down until further notice, thank you.” I command and my pack members bow their heads as they scuttle out of the room. I walk out and run back towards the car where my Beta is struggling to hold Beta Smith up. I roll my eyes as I grab the Beta in one hand and sling him over my shoulder with a grunt.

“Hurry up now, the pack members are starting to grow curious.” I growl out at Link as he just stands there with a bewildered look. He rolls his eyes and starts walking off towards the front door.

“Fine miss bossy, come along, we’ve got some torturing to do!” He says in a sing songy voice as he skips towards the entrance, I roll my eyes at my Beta’s antics. I walk behind him and wait for him to walk inside. When he doesn’t I grow irritated.

“What?” I ask and he shrugs.

“Did you know you have a naked man in the bushes?” He asks and I roll my eyes.

“No, I did not know that I have a naked man in the bushes Link.” I say sarcastically and he rolls his eyes.

“No, out in the forest’s bushes, there was a naked man watching you, he looked like you.” Link states simply and I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion.

“Like related looks?” I ask and he shakes his head.

“No, like you, your kind.” He says after I don’t get it and he rolls his eyes as he walks inside.

“He looked like a Lycan too.” is all he says as he goes inside the pack house, Beta Smith still over my shoulders. I look out to the woods and sigh.

“Lycan, ha funny, I’m the only one left.” I say as I go inside, not before I take another look towards the woods, only to see a fast figure run off.
