"Such a creative and captivating story! I first became a fan from Secrets of Sin (and desperately waiting for book 3). I haven't read a story like this before and I was so eager to see how it would end. Love the love and devotion from Eli but man did I wish he was not a porn star, that was really tough for me to get behind. For his intent to seek out her family and be in that house was for Mercy yet he chose to do that like it's no big deal.... I REALLY wish he was more of the business partner side of things and not someone in an 'active' role in the business bc they really left me confused- esp when she did come back in his life and he continued to 'work' that was hard for me to read bc I was pissed .... so if that wasn't his job then I'd say this story was perfect for me (but that's my personal thoughts). "

"Absolutely bloody fabulous. This was one of the very few unfinished books I have deliberately started. I was waiting for updates and lost it about 2 months ago, only finding it this morning. It was every bit amazingly fantastic as I remembered. Very dark and sad at times but love always shone through. Great writing, really great "

"I like the plot of this story and how It makes me cringe to think of being in a family of porn stars let alone falling for one. I love that their real people who basically do their 9 to 5 job and don’t think anything of it and how the mums kind and still a mum. I like that your shining light on an industry that is looked down upon but yet “most people secretly in the privacy of their own homes. I can’t wait for the rest of this book so I ride through it with the characters. Go team Mercy and Eli 😍🥰"

"I have read a number of this author’s work and the stories never disappoint especially this one. The action and suspense is addictive. Mercy’s struggle and growth to overcome the trauma implemented by her father’s religious cult is extraordinary. It’s also a great depiction of how someone doesn’t just move past their trauma, it takes time and support. Eli’s amazing support and devotion to Mercy really add to their incredible love story that seem to have been the fate of the gods. There are some remaining questions like who is the “rat” at the party that Mercy overheard, what was Eli “missing”, and what happened to Slate and the Crows?? Overall, this is one of my favorites and I will continue to reread many more times!! "

"From the title i was expecting a different kind of story, like a supernatural story- but although it wasnt the story i was expecting i found it to be addictive and i loved every bit of it. I have been left with some questions in my mind though. What happened to Noah after Eli had been to see him? I'm guessing he may have died? and did Eli remain in his career and 'brotherhood' after becoming a family man? Even though it has left me with some questions, overall the storyline and characters are amazing and i would highly recommend to read"
