I stood alone on my back porch. It was completely silent with the exception of an occasional clangor coming from my kitchen. The wind blew through my hair and it was perfectly calm. I sat down on the swing that was to my left, folded my arms, and thought about my day. The brief memory of what happened earlier when there was so much screaming. I will get to that later.
