Engaging

"I think this is my favorite story by this author. I read the first few chapters, and I found it very interesting. I liked the combination of people and races as a band of unlikely companions go on a quest for their lord. Your characters were very well done; I like the potential of the selfish leader, Drew, and his best friend and brother, Justin. I would have liked to know more about what the other races looked like, but I think your descriptions were well done. I didn't really like the first chapter however, and it's because the beginnings where the author does an information dump about the world (even if it is labelled as a prologue) bores me. This may just be personal preference, but I think that you should kill the prologue and just work the information into the rest of the story. This story was definitely enjoyable though, and I would certainly read more of it. Good work!"
