"It is a superior ghost story with the only thing which jarred was her use of the name Cassidy. Otherwise thought she wrote like Susan Hill and has the genre intact is able to hold down suspense and has a way of making it believable. It was a expertly done. I wanted to find out about the past as well as the future but somehow it did not matter because it is a cocoon."
One Day Read
"I enjoyed reading this story. It was a quick read and light-hearted love story though I wonder if there is going to be a second book coming soon. There are some aspects of the story that have not been solved yet whether Simon does get to leave the island or we get to find out who actually murdered him. If there is a second, I would enjoy wanting to know more of Simon's situation and how Simon and Cassidy's love progresses, but if this is the only one - that's okay with me too. Lovely work."
A Timeless Read
"When I started to read this book the first time I had no idea that once I started I wouldn't be able to put it down until I was done. This book pulls you into an island that you wish you could be a part of. No matter where you read you will believe that you can feel the warmth of the sunsets so beautifully describe and smell the fresh sea air. The actually plot will pull you and by the end you will want to read it again! The story has the ability to be branched off into other stories but it could also be considered a timeless read because of its ability to make the reader think and re-read in order to try and find an answer to those (although only a few) unanswered questions. It's a book I would recommend to anybody because I feel like we all sometimes wish we could escape to a small seaside town and just forget our troubles for a day. "

"I greatly enjoyed reading this story, since there's an unexpected sweetness to it, without being too fluffy or cheesy. The plot wasn't predictable and the setting was rich in detail. It was peaceful and homely! While not all the questions are answered, the ending was satisfying and definitely pointed the reader to fill in the little details themselves. This story has the potential to branch off into more narratives of the life on this peculiar island. "
