Introduction

“OK, Jon, I’d like to ask why you called me to the digging site.”

“Alright, Boss. We reached the mantle, and these odd rocks have been floating to the surface. Sometimes, they even seem to split into multiple stones of the same size as the original.”

“Anything else I might find bizarre?”

“Yup. They make the crew uneasy- three clocked out from illness already- 5% of the dig team, y’know, boss.”

“Alright. Use one of our cranes, and salvage one ton of these for testing. Any discovery from these might end our company’s losing streak!”

“No.”

“What do you mean, no? Do it, or I’ll fire you on the spot!”

“Um, salvaging these might not be a great idea.”

“Look, we need a breakthrough, or we’re toast. This might be our shot! If you wanna get in the way, Jon, that’s fine- I’ll just hand your job to one of my yes-men. So, order getting some of these rocks by the new year, 2075, or I’ll fire your ass and get it done myself.”

“Yes, Boss. Alright, everyone, you heard the man! Get a crane in action by 5!”

Vampire: Great story. Clear plot line and very interesting. Characters are lovely and well made. Amazing writing skills and grammar. Only thing that was a little bit too much is the repetition but I guess it's a writing style? Anyways I love it definitely recommend it!
