Broken Innocent
I was once an innocent, naive and pure.
An idiot person that’s clueless or the world around. Clueless of the darkness of the world. My life was filled with joy and love.
For me everything was perfect. Naively, thinking that my life will be filled with happiness with those around me.
Oh how fool was I, an idiot, the fool among the greatest fools. On that fateful night, everything changed.
My once joyful, loving life shattered into million pieces. That night I learn a new thing, a new thing that opened my blinded eyes.
I learn it the world by hard way; betrayal.
To be betrayed by someone that was once your friend, to be betrayed by someone that I trust my life with. Then I realize the world is full of darkness and evil.
Now I know, there’s no such thing as pure things, nothing can escape from this tainted world.
Innocent, naive, and pure no longer am I. How low have I fallen?
For now, my hands have already been tainted, tainted with darkness. How far have I sunk?
For the darkness have tainted my soul, chaining me in the shadow of darkness, dragging me into an eternal abyss.
Little by little, they drove me to madness.
For no soul can escape from the shadows of the darkness once they have taste the darkness.
