"This was a really cute romance novel. It was built with sweetness. The grammar and punctuation were sparkless. The writing style was pretty good as well. Talking about the plot the main conflict was realistic, and I think the handling of the dilema between the parents and Felicity was well done. I liked the main message about searhing for acceptance and fighting for your own future, not wanting to follow someone else's path. I also enjoyed, how Felicity and Whitney met and dealt with a long distance relationship. The interactions between the characters were sweet, although I would have liked some more background added to Felicity, more of her flaws, or perhaps a litle bit more about her life outside of home, her other friends, the job at the library or her grandfather. I think I wanted a little bit more backstory about Whitney too, for instance, how she started to play the violin or at least some kind of indication, that Whitney practiced it. I think, that detail was added a little too abruptly. Also a lit bit of SPOILER: after Felicity confessed to her parents about Whitney, then ran away, it was written, that she took only her phone and bus card. (if I recall correctly it was even written specifically, that she ignored her house keys) However in the later chapters, when Felicity returns home she unlocks the door by herself... This raises questions to me... In the end, 'I Get To Love You' was a beautiful romance novel. (A thank you and kudos go to the author!) If anyone likes heartwarming romances give this novel a go. ^^"
