“I hate you!”

I looked round at my family eating dinner. My mum Eliza is the kindest mum you can get, Jacob my brother and his girlfriend Elly they were both so kind to me. And then there was my dad . He was absolutely horrible to me and only to me, no one else I can’t understand why. What have I done wrong? I looked down at my plate which had a huge lump of broccoli on it. Gross. I fiddled with it with my fork and gagged.

“Stop playing with your food you disgusting rodent!” Dad yelled, his eyes bloodshot and almost bulging out of his eye sockets, man I hate that guy!

“Now mark no need to be rude, especially in front of our guest” Mum said gesturing towards Elly who have a half heated smile , then carried on eating. Then, he blew.

“I don’t care! This brat needs to be taught a lesson!”He spat, pointing his fat finger at me . I saw the worried look on Jacobs face. Then dad got up and stormed over to me, so close I could literally feel the anger coming off him.

“Thank you” he said before slamming the phone on the floor and stamping on it, causing glass to go everywhere. I couldn’t believe it. He looked up from the floor and slapped me before yelling,

“ may that be a lesson to you!” My blood boiled with anger. I stood up slamming my hand on the table, getting everyone’s attention.

“I hate you!” I yelled aiming it at dad before storming out the room into my room, slamming the door behind me. I didn’t know how long I was laying on my bed crying but I knew that it was long enough to send me to sleep ...
