The Wolven Warriors
I donโt mean to brag but my pack is the best pack ever. Everywolf gets along. I knew all about our ancient wolf history. We hid among the trees when the great god of death: the wolf Ashu killed all the wolf colonies when we were in the plain hills. All except a few. That was 4000 years ago. After the 4000 year exile, Ashu was killed by the great god of peace: wolf Kremutin of the hills destroyed him in a great blood bath. Then he dissapeared. Ever since then, Ashuโs influence of descruction and death appeared across the land. Wolves were fighting each other and killing each other. We are still living in the evergreen death forest today. The Wolf Storytellers of my pack say so. Everywolf in my pack has a role to play. Letโs start with the Wolf Storytellers. They are like teachers to the pups, the kids. They tell us legends and how to overcome the world. Usually these are the gifted wolves, the historians, or intelligent wolves. The mothers are usually the ones pregnant with pups. They stay home to raise them, because their mates might be out for food. Hunters are normal wolves. They usually go out for food. Hence the term, hunters. Alpha, the leader of the pack. Usually a male and sometimes a mate to any female wolf (at once!!!) Thereโs one role left to play. Somewolf else whoโs the teacher. Not the Wolf Storytellers! The Teacher-me!! I give the pups training to become a hunter or a doctor. Plus, nowolf is a doctor, so I guess Iโm that too. The teacher, unlike the others who are selected to the alphaโs liking, the teacher is selected by the mothers, because they want the best for their pups. I like my role because all the pups are so cute! How could you say no to their face? The Wolf Storytellers in my pack are my buddies who I grew up with: Thistle, Samura, and Sickle-Fir. The Hunters are: Weasel, Katam, Kamicha, Haran, Somara, Sakacha, Pupulai, and Sorahi. The Mothers are: Helen, Sabuyah, Garla, Temihi, Tehululu, and a Wolf Storyteller Samura. And my little co-workers, the pups: Sichi, Deo, Kix, Xixie, and my closest conpanion pup, Sakahi. And of course, the alpha: Jagg. And just so you know the roles, you have to say the role before the name of the wolf, like me. To everyone else I am either Doctor Kitra, or Teacher Kitra. To the mothers it is either like with Helen: Miss Helen or Mother Helen, but you usually only say Mother โHelenโ when itโs the alphaโs mate. And that is Mother Tehululu. Hunters you say: Hunter โnameโ like Hunter Weasel. And so on and so forth. But if you have 2 responsiblities, you have 2 names, like me! Our pack is called The Wolven Warriors, and I am gosh darn proud of it!
