Many, Many Moons Ago...
I came here. And for the first time, it felt like home. I became alpha. Suddenly, I had alot on my shoulders than the responsitblities of the lives of 6 or 7 pups. But now, I have the responsiblities of EVERYONE’S LIVES! The day started as usual. It was early in the morning. “Alpha Kitra! Alpha Kitra!” A small little pup voice called! “Let’s play! Let’s play!” “Little Damu, stop it! Calm down, you’re going to wake up the pack.” I replied. If somepup did something important, or the alpha’s pup, they are called Little. And since he [Damu] made the system that got them through without the alpha, he was important. We had done his “labeling” (that is when you move from a role to another role, and it ususally used when pups graduate to be a hunter, doctor, or wolf storyteller) And since he was now Little Damu, he was a mini alpha to all the young-ins to teach them how the system of packs. At my old pack we didn’t have a pup like Damu. He’s a good kid. Alpha Jagg had to explain at my old pack, the Wolven Warriors, and boy was that hard for a young teen to explain to bunch of one-year-olds. And that was pretty confusing to listen too, and I’m glad as alpha that I didn’t need to do this. “I’m sorry, Alpha Kitra, it’s just that today is a BEAUTIFUL DAY!” Little Damu said. At least he had finally knew how to say sorry at this time. “It’s raining.” I replied back. “Look at this, everywolf’s soaking wet.” It was raining on that day. “But that’s why it’s a beautiful day! We can jump in muddy puddles!” Little Damu said, as he jumped circles around me saying “Jump jump!” every time he hit the ground. “It’s too early. Look, the hunters are not back from the 4 am hunt. The sun isn’t rising, so they probably just left! And by the creveses, it started raining a minute ago. There are no muddy puddles. Maybe another time. Why don’t you go back to sleep?” I replied. “Ok. It’s just I have a hard time sleeping when my daddy is not around.” Little Damu replied. “I know that feeling.” I addmitted for the first time. Maybe it wasn’t so usual after all. “I was an orphan. My dad dissapeared with my mother. I’m wondering if I could use my alpha abilities to find them and bring them here, but I can’t find anything.” I touched my neck. I had a necklace around my neck that the Ashu-ians dropped. That’s the first time I remember I had my parents, and lost them. We had scared off and Ashu-ian with a necklace. They dropped it and ran off. Behind them were my parents...after they ran, they dissapeared.” A softe tear dropped down my face.“You didn’t have a mom and dad?” Little Damu asked. “That’s so sad!” I nodded. “But now I have everything. I have you, I have Trecici, I’m an alpha, I have a pack, what more could I ask for?” Turns out I could ask my favorite pup to be my son.
