His Mate

I walk around through the forest. I can hear the birds all around me. The sun is starting to rise making everything look slightly orange. It's beautiful.

Just then I hear a twig snap behind me. I spin around but I can't see anyone. Suddenly someone is behind me. They put they're hand over my mouth. A tingling sensation explodes where his hand is.

"Twilight! Twilight! Get up. It's your turn for breakfast and I'm starving!"

I'm snapped out of my dream and back into realty.

"Go away Midnight! I was having a good dream." I yell at her while throwing one of my pillows at her.

I'm Twilight if you hadn't already guessed. I'm also a werewolf.

"You were dreaming about him again! Weren't you?" she states.

"No" I say, trying not to blush.

Werewolfs dream about they're mate before they meet them. The only problem is, it could be a year before you meet them or a day. However you will meet them.

You also never see they're face. I've never been able to turn around in any of my dreams. All I know is that he's taller than me.

I can't wait to meet him. I'm one of 4 kids that my parents have. My mum died 7 years ago when my youngest sister, Ash, was just 1. I'm the oldest. In the middle is the twins. You've already met Midnight and then there's Jocob. The twins are 12. I'm 19. Big age gaps but it doesn't really matter. I love them all the same.

"sure!" she says sarcastically as she turns to leave. "Hurry up with breakfast!"

"I'm coming!" I yell. "Be patient!"

"It's 10:30.i think I've been patient enough." she tells me before leaving my hut.

My pack live in the forest bordering the capital, Edinburgh.

Every family has they're own hut.

I'm a special wolf though. I have powers.

Long ago there were only 5 of each of the species. 5 humans, 5 werewolves, 5 vampires and so on. 2 of these 5 were different though. These special 2 had powers. They're descents would also be gifted with these powers. If there is 5 descents each with parents who are direct descents then that child, like the originals, will have all the powers the world has. If there is more than 1 child then just the first one gets all the powers. The rest just get 1.

I'm one of those special 5. My parents both had powers and so did they're parents. you get the idea.

I get dressed in casual clothes, a white shirt, grey jumper and black leggings. They built a wall around the city but we still manage to get in, mainly for clothes.

"What do you guys want for breakfast?" I ask walking out.

"Anything you can find. Maybe something big?" I hear Jacob say.

"Try and find a deer if you can!" Midnight suggests.

"Okay. Back in a minute." I tell them before transforming.

"Bye Twilight!" they both call before going back to whatever they were talking about.

I love this feeling. The wind in my fur, my paws against the damp forest floor, the smell of everything. Sometimes I can't believe that this is actually my life, that I'm not just dreaming and one day will wake up.

I sniff the air to figure out if there's anything near by. I pick up a few sents, a rabbit, a fox, a human and a deer. Bingo!

Quickly I turn and start tracking the deer, determined not to lose it.

After about half an hour of searching I finally see it. The wind I blowing east so I make sure that I stand east of the deer so as it can't smell me.

I get ready and pounce, biting into its neck and not letting go. Once it's dead I transform back into my human form and look around me. That's when I spot him.
