"The case of Eden Wether, is has been the talk of the town since it happened about 2 years ago this case has truly been a confusing one. Mrs. and Mr. Wether have been taken as suspects due to drastic sasspision in their behaver, Detective Vic states that he believes this case goes deeper then we have found out about this family" The news man states as the little girl about 11 years old sits her legs crisscrossed in front of her TV, the morning rays just now coming in from the window, as her mother is making the two of them there usual "Saturday Pancakes", her mom was just about done by the time the news man was done talking about Eden's disappearance
The girl was friends with Eden, she never wanted anything bad to happen to Eden. They've been friends since they could remember, they were practically raised as sister.
Eden's parents would never come with her when she went over Sapphire's house they always were ghostly as Eden usually describes them as whenever she would ask
"Is that all the laundry?" Sapph yells up to her mom and her mom replys with yell of a yes down the stairs as shes cleaning the upstairs. Since Sapphire's mom was a single and trying to raise a kid on her own she felt as though she needed to grow up after she saw the toll it did on her, Eden's disappearance and then her dad not answering anyone anymore.
Sapphire headed down the stairs to the basement laundry basket in her arms. The basement looked as though it was abandoned, box everywhere label different thing, and canned food for emergencies, she didn't like staying down there. As Sapph got down the stairs she noticed some of the cans were busted open and littered around the place. She knew it would be a dumb move to get any closer so she just called out "Hello! Show yourself! You shouldn't be down here this is somone house your in, you cant be here I'll call the cops!"
"Please dont, they'll take me back to them!" A familiar voice shouts back shuffling aroud the far back of the basement. Sapphire put the basket down putting her hands up not knowing if this person could see her but trying to shoe she was no threat to their safety "We can figure something out, I just don't want you to stay in my cold basement. Please just come out?" She asked hearing bare foot steps emerged from the darkness.
"Sapph? It's you! I found you finally." Eden yelled out of happiness, piering from around the top of the stairs, she notices the short girl covered in dirt and grime her light skin and freckles looking almost gone and brown due to all the dirt on her face.
"Oh my god, Eden!" She cries in tears huging her and wapping the dirt from her face
