The rain was pounding outside and though Tina was not really under a solid structure she was grateful for the like shelter she had under the tool shed, she and her wolf had escaped just in time. She shouldn’t be surprised that she was freezing in the rain because it wasn’t the first time ......
Two years earlier
“ Tina supper is ready” her mom called from downstairs. Tina was so happy she couldn’t wait to tell her mom that that she got her scholarship to go to Harvard she hoped her mom could convince her dad to let her go. As Tina was getting ready to go downstairs and tell her mom the good news she heard a crash and her mom screaming she wanted to rash downstairs and see whether her mom was okey but she remembered the training her mom taught her from the young age of five.… “Tina, darling if ever you feel like your in danger ran, ran to the docks like I showed you, remember?” Her mom asked “ yes mom, but why should I ran I just want to stay with you and daddy” Tina’s young mind was puzzled by the serious look on her mom’s face, her mom looked deep into her eyes the way she sometimes did when she wanted Tina to know she was serious, “Tina, baby do u remember what daddy taught you? What to do when someone catches you and takes you when you don’t want to go with them” her mom asked her in that same serious voice “yes mom, Tina should find a way to escape the way daddy taught her.” “ good job baby girl.”….
Tina knew she had just wasted valuable time stalling so with a heavy heart she went to the secret door hidden in the wall after picking up her emergency bag that was hidden under the bed and was stacked with money for different counties, her burner phone, laptop, her fake passport, hand gun, extra bullets and lastly her clothes. She then dashed to through the tunnel, she was still dressed in her black pajamas and sneakers she slowed down when she heard footsteps…
