"I loved how the author properly built up the suspense, I tend to not read a lot of books like this because they lack that element. I would recommend this book to anyone that’s a fan of suspense, especially because I know a lot of ppl personally that don’t like full-on supernatural stuff, this was just amazing. 1000/10"

Genuinely unnerving
"I love how you took your time setting up the character and her fears, and kept us guessing all along. The part where she's going down to the basement is really freaky, and I love how you describe it as a "black void"; really helps you visualize the scene from the main characters eyes. That moment later with the basement door being found open was freaky, too. You wrote the settings and character actions very well; I could feel myself going through the same steps. I was legitimately scared something was going to jump out and attack her any minute! But it's really cool and unique how you kept invoking the fear of the unknown instead. I'll be sure to check out some of your other work"
