First try at a short story with a very small word count of 50. The key word given to include was Grey.
Rocked by change, paths obscured by thorns the colours of life once cherished gradually fade to grey. A pallid, secluded island from which to build until, the warmth of golden sunlight returns to permeate the still waters. Time flows, long forgotten hues emerge anew, the second spring of life begins.
