Chapter 1 Bad dreams
“The year is 2037 London has faced dark times over the last 3 years. Many lives were lost once again. People hoped that America would forgive the British so everything can go back to the way it had been for the last few decades. After all we fought and we won like we always have. But it always came with a huge sacrifice. My name is Harry winter and this is my story.”
In the small town of Sidcup Harry Winter is getting ready for his first day at the University of Sidcup. He has sent the last two years fighting for the British and now he’s were he wants to be. Home.
“Harry, come on your going to be late for your first day of University.”
Like every morning Harry is still in bed late for school and his mother screaming at him telling him to get up.
“Ok okay I’m up” moned Harry “ Having bad dreams”
Downstairs his dad is waiting for Harry to finish having his breakfast so he can give him a ride to school.
“Come on your 10 minutes away from being late” shouted his dad from half way across the Room.
A few seconds later they were both in the car and on there way to the University of Sidcup.
“Tell me ever since you got home you’ve been having bad dreams”Said his dad “ what sought of dreams are they?”
Harry sighs then replies “Dreams of what happens at war and what I think is going to happen at University.”
His dad placed his hand gently on Harry’s shoulder and says “We here you at night screami in ng , crying and saying “I want to go home”. “We think we should get you some help. Maybe you’ll feel better.”
“This aren’t just any dreams though. I had these when I was at war as well. Whatever dream I had , it just came true the next day. They feel more like visions.” Said Harry.
Quickly changing the subject his dad asked how his friend was doing. “He’s doing okay but I’m just worried about him. One of my dreams told me that I fall in love with a young girl whilst Alex is away and then when he comes back he bearly remembers me and tries to kill me!” Said Harry worryingly as they pulled up outside the University. “ Don’t worrie I’m only 5 minutes down the road if you need me” said his dad comforting his son.
“Well. Here goes nothing.”Harry told himself as he entered the University gates for the first time.
