"Really enjoyed this little story! It had suspense all the time. I admire your writing style. It was descriptive and had a nice mental visuality power. Although, if I could give a suggestion, I'd like to say that I found the usage of 'I' in several sentences at the start. Like, " I didn't want to look like her twin, so I told her I was wearing the sleek blue satin number I had worn" instead of which you could write, "Not wanting to look like her twin, I told her I'd be wearing the sleek blue satin number I had worn." Other than that, it was all good! 👍💕"
