I tried again, and again, same answer, the number you are dialing is not responding.

I am going to kill him. ughh! If you are wondering whose death plan I am plotting then let me tell you, it's of my twin brother.

I dialed him fifteen minutes ago, to pick me up at this bus stop, and now he isn't responding.

It's going be dark soon. I think about my recent activities and my mind automatically goes to that topic.

I don't know when I am going to get rid of it. But one thing is for sure , it isn't going to be easy.

I was so lost in thoughts, I didn't know I was walking, until I hear a loud honk of a truck that's coming my way.

I freeze at the point because of fear and brace my face with both of my hands.

I am going to die!

But I still owe Lilah, my best friend, that chocolate chip cookie. Will my soul haunt because I have an incomplete bet__

My thoughts are snapped when a warm body is wrapped around me and dragging me away from truck.

We both land on the ground with a thud, and with a warm and huge body on top of me, but back doesn't hit the ground because, before it could, he wrapped his arms around me.

I know it's a boy, because.. umm.. our fronts are totally flushed together.

"Are you alright?",a deep husky voice asks.

I remove my thick hair strips from my face and slowly open my eyes, and look into the beautiful color of sapphire.

They are beautiful, more than beautiful and I could easily get lost in them, and what came out of my mouth even shocks me.

"Mate"

"Mate"

"Whoa, whoa! What's happening here?", a familiar voice asks and I instantly stand up.

Turning my head, I look at my brother that's standing just a few steps away and is speedily coming this way.

I ran to him and tightly hug him.

God, I have missed him. I was away from my home that's in a beautiful hillside, because of school's informative tour for two weeks and I've missed him so much.

He hugs me more tightly then says,"God, I have missed you, Win".

I then smack his arm, hardly, I might add.

"Ouch, what was that for?"

"I was trying your cellphone again and again but you weren't answering."

"Sorry, I left it in my room and I was stuck in traffic", he replies and I know he is telling the truth, it's his face .

He can't lie properly.

"I've really missed you" ,

he was going to hug me again but was cutoff by a loud growl.

We both turned to look at my mate.

I feel my cheeks go red .

He comes toward me and wraps his arms tightly around me, like claiming his territory.

Now it's close to dark, and we can't clearly see each other's face , but I can surely see look of hardness on my brother's face, his beta instincts kicking in.

He snarled his teeth at my brother's direction.

"How dare you touch my mate?,"

My brother seems surprised, and he seems to have recognized the voice.

"She is my twin sister, alpha "

"What A-Alpha?",

I ask surprisingly, thinking maybe I heard wrong.

What! you know you should always confirm things you aren't sure that you heard right.

Like, one time in 3rd grade, a girl asked me to see her drawing, and I thought she was asking me to erase it. Hey! Don't you dare call me stupid! She was pointing an eraser towards meand I was listening to some music.(The song was really good). Well, the girl's red face still haunts me.

How did she changed her pale complexion into red in one second was beyond me. And a bit of advise, don't piss off young girls , they can scratch your face more harshly than cats.

"Yeah, he is alpha Chase, that's why I tell you to learn more about pack and ask you to come out of house more often", my brother says to me , with a little mischievous smirk on his face.

"Really, Jake, you have to stop calling me alpha again and again, it makes me feel like an old school master instead of alpha, 'Don't you dare call me by my first name or I'll make your life hell' ",

he says, mimicking in a old man's voice.

"Hey, man! That's Mr. George's voice", my brother says slapping Chase's back.

My brother and our pack alpha was homeschooled, they said as he was born to be beta, he and alpha had to spent their life practicing to be best in their roles.

It doesn't happen on every pack. Our pack is biggest here, it's like the head pack.

So Alpha Jason wanted to have next generation who was going to take over the leadership to be best.

Then it clicks.

"Hey! Does it mean you two are best friends, right?",

I say to both of them who were childishly showing biceps to each other and betting whose muscles are bigger.

They both are body builders , so I don't know why they are being so childish.

"Yeah, buddy for life",Jake says, taking break for some moment of their childishness.

I then stomped my foot on road, trying to get two not so elder boy's attention. I wouldn't be surprised if both of them would start sucking their thumb saying who can suck better.

Thankfully, my stomping foot caught both of their attention.

Chase was coming towards me, arms extending when I look at him and say,

"If my brother is your best friend then why were you snapping at my brother before?"

He froze and I think, he was going to apologize when my brother said,

"It isn't his fault, it's in our blood to be so protective of our mate, and his being the Alpha makes it much more stronger".

"Aww , I have to say to say it was cute you being protective over me,Win, but it's my role, Hey Chase! You cheater!! That was my role, I should've been the one threatening you, the way you were laying on top of my sister",

my brother says and then lower his voice to whisper,

"You know they call something like 'Don't show your hormones in public' "

Chase and I smack my brother on his arm, but this time instead of effecting him I think it hurts me more,

"Hey! Have you been eating steel?"

"Look! My sister thinks I am more stronger than you, Chase!", Jake says, making some poses.

"I don't recall her saying that and I smacked you because, why the hell would you let your sister to be alone in this time and also in a bus stop, a truck was coming her way__"

he stops and closes his eyes like he doesn't want to recall it. He then comes towards me and says,

"You know you are my mate, most precious thing in my life and how could you be so care__"

Before he could complete his sentence, I am being lifted in air, by my brother,I think I should add,

"Are you hurt? Oh God! I am the worst brother! So sorry, Winnie, traffic was really very bad and _"

I stopped his speed-light rant, by somehow turning in his arms to hug him and said to him,

"It isn't your fault, it was my fault, I was thinking something and I didn't know I was walking until I saw the truck, but as you can see, my mate, here saved me."

I felt heat rise up on my cheeks,

"You look so cute when you blush , and it's even more adorable because you are blushing while thinking of me",

Chase says from behind and I place my foot on ground. When my brother releases me, Chase wraps me in his arms causing me to blush more.

"What were you thinking that you were so lost?", my brother asks, looking concerned.

I freeze thinking of that topic, and my twin brother and my mate growl together,

"Is something bothering you?!"

I can't help but smile at their protectiveness, I pinch both of their cheeks, and head toward the car,

"I am really tired, Can we please go home?",

I say making my best pout at both of them.

It didn't take them much time to grab both of my arms to lead me toward different cars,

"Hey, sorry to break it to you, but a person even if it is wolf can't drive on same car at same time",

I say to them.

"Hey! I forgot to ask why were you here at the first place? Wasn't some pack males deciding to go on a movie night?", my brother asks.

"You mentioned your sister was coming today and even though I hadn't met your sister before, you were so excited about it, you are my best friend so I thought I should accompany you, and I am not regretting it",

Chase says and then looks at me so intently that it takes my breath away,

"I can't tell you how glad I am that I came",

And then my dear brother decides to interrupt our beautiful moment by saying,

"Hey!, can't you two stop making lovey dovey eyes at each other for when umm I am not around?, I mean she is my sister dude!"

"Come on, love, we are going home",

Chase says and then starts leading me toward his car. And I am still half lost in fog by the way he called me 'love'.

"I mean MY little sister is going with her big brother to our home",

my brother stomps his foot on the ground.

"Two minutes older", I grumble.

"I mean, I really love you and I have approved of this thing between you two, but it doesn't mean you are going to take her away from me, I mean we shared a womb, for God's sake!", my brother says rambling like the drama queen I know he is.

"And we share a soul!",

Chase says smiling like the kid who got his candy.

"And now we are going to share a car".

I throw back at both of them. And drag both of them in my brother's car, and sit in the backseat.

And before Chase could argue about why we are not using his car, my intelligent brother starts his car.

This must be the most intelligent thing my brother has ever done.

No, I think my brother has acted as a genius before, too,

Like when we were seven years old and I told him that I had a suspicion that our neighbor's hair was not original. And my brother came up with a genius idea.

And next day , when the poor man was leaving for his work, my brother and I hanged like monkeys holding two little fan on his fence.

Oh! The way that wig was flying in slow motion.

My suspicion was right!

That neighbor uncle was going to press changes against us, but it wasn't like we snatched his real hair from his head. So he couldn't do anything to us. But still we both were grounded for a week.

Even though they both were fighting before, both of them are talking about sports.

And I fell asleep in the backseat.

I open my eyes slowly and look that we are close to our home.

I sit up and look that Chase and Jake are listening to a slow song, and sometimes sing along, but in low voice.

As my brother sees that I am awake, he smiles at me and then says,

"Good, you are awake, we are there",

I smile back at him and Chase, who was also smiling at me,

"You were looking so adorable when you were sleeping"

"And you were looking at me, like a creep",I say and dramatically narrow my eyes.

"No, like a mate, love", he says and then turns to plant a kiss on my forehead.

My brother and I both smile at him and soon we are parking in our driveway.

As soon as I open the car door and hop out, my mom and dad are there squeezing the life out of me.

"We missed you, Winnie the Pooh", my dad says and hugs me again.

"I missed you too, papa the great", I say to my Dad making him laugh.

"Hey! Dad! A great news! I finally found my mate!!", I say excitedly.

"Hey! I found you!"

My dad and mom bow their head immediately and say,

"Alpha".

He rubs his head sheepishly and says,

"I thought we were past that point, Jake is my best friend and now your daughter is my mate."

and then pouts his lips,

"I really now regret that I didn't come at your house before"

"We invited you so many times and I can't tell you how happy we are to finally have you here", my mom says while pulling him into a hug.

Yeah, my family love hugs.

"It really means a lot to me",

Chase says while smiling widely.

I smile at them.

My mother is the former Beta female. And the reason why Chase hasn't visited our home is because all the meetings are held at Alpha's house. And I haven't attended any of these meetings. The reason why Chase and I haven't met before. I don't go out much. I just spend all my time in school or in my books.

My father pecks my forehead then leads me inside.

As I step through threshold of my home, I notice that whole house is engulfed in dark.

Complete dark.

I turn to look at my father and mother and they look as confused as I am.

I was going to switch on the lights when a creepy voice booms though corridor.

"Oh-ho , Finally how much I was waiting for you".

Then another little girl like creepy voice comes,

"Tsk,Tsk, you think you are going to eat all of her, alone? sorry but we have to share, this one looks tasty."

"W-Who's there?", I stutter.

"Your death", that first creepy little boy like voice greets me.

And before, I could react, a figure jumps on me....................................................................................................................

I start laughing loudly. And then I feel sharp pain on my left arm.

"Ouch! Sorry sorry, I tried but....I couldn't control_"

Then Jake switchs on the lights and as expected my little cousin, Alex, is sitting on my belly, wearing a costume that I think was supposed to be horror.

"Come-on, Winny, you could have pretended that you were scared!",

my little cousin, Alex's twin,

Lily says pouting,

wearing a doll costume covered with red paint.

"Sorry, I tried but couldn't_" and again I burst into laughter.

"And oh! Alex you pinched me!"

"It took us so much time to create these costumes."

"Yeah, they both were watching horror movies today and then according to them and I quote,

'One day we are going to turn into ghosts, then why don't we start practicing from now on, how to scare a person?',

but don't worry, your big cousin will help you, even in there",

my brother says and then his eyes go wide like he realized something,

"Hey! How big of a fool I am, I will not be your big cousin brother there.....", and then he solemnly says,

"I.will.be... your cousin ghost brother there"

Chase smacks his head and says,

"Dude, everyone knows that you can't scare someone, and even if you'd try to scare someone, that person would say, 'oh, sorry was I supposed to be scared?' "

And then it clicks.

"Hey! Were you involved in this?", I ask to Chase nodding toward my little cousins.

"I filled him on this when you were sleeping", Jake says proudly like he did a great thing.

"He forced me not to tell you anything ", Chase says pointing towards my brother.

Before I could say anything, my mom called us from the kitchen,

"Come-on kids! Food is ready!",and we all being big hungers we are, followed her.

After eating the meal, we all were resting in our living room.

My mom and dad were talking about something, Alex and Lily were watching another horror movie, Aunt and uncle are out of town and yipee! these both little devils are going to stay overnight.

It turned out, Chase and Jake and I make a great trio and whenever Chase moves closer to me , I get these foreign butterflies in my belly and I like it.

He is really very sweet , kind and has many good qualities.

He is really a good Alpha too, and he cares about everyone.

Then my phone rings and I jolt in panic. I know who it is.

Every time I block their number, they try again with another number.

I am really getting tired of this.

Seeing my panic, Chase and Jake immediately sit straight and was going to ask something when our famous twins decide to take this matter in their hands.

"I know who it is, Winnie", Lily says seriously, it only makes me panic more.

Then, without any hesitation Alex answers the call and says,

"I know who you are", and then after adding an evil laugh he says,

"Ghost dude, we caught you!"
