Brilliant

"It's just one of these stories that seems to flow, despite the flashbacks and the present being in the same chapter. I can't remember spotting a single grammar error (although I don't exactly hunt or these kinds of things) and the structure was a close to perfect as you could get whilst keeping the story... well, a story. I like how even the darkest parts are broken up with a bit of light-hearted humour -whether that was the author's intention, or it was because I am that type of person who just finds something funny despite the morbidity of it. The romance within it is light and the increase of it is gradual - it isn't one of those slam-dunk sort of romance books, which makes it a nice change. The overall pace of the story was perfect; nor too fast and not too slow. And seeing as the Pitch-and-Character romance stories are quite rare, it makes this story all the better. To be honest, I think I might have found it earlier, but back then I hadn't thought of reviewing it as I was mostly just skimming through stories. However, I am definitely glad I came across this gem. Nothing in this story was something I would regret. Most stories I have read have the Guardians readily trusting Pitch and the paranoia, hatred and stubbornness in them in this story is a welcomed thing - it is much closer to how the Guardians had viewed Pitch in the movie. Pitch's stubbornness, smugness and overall foolishness within the story, along with his darker side were well-balanced. As for the change within him towards the end, it isn't rushed and overall, makes Artemis' death a more heart-breaking moment. Although, boy was I relieved that she came back. So yeah... basically, this story is brilliantly thought out, brilliantly written and if the author could keep up this standard - or even get better - I think they will be deserving of every positive review they get. ~S P.S. - Uh... is it a bad thing that I can't come up with any negative thing, or a field that needs to be improved in?"
