Summary

Blue fumes were surrounding her body, rising in the air, a slight mix smell of burnt and cool. She looked down towards her feet small faded blue circles of glow light encasing them. lights were flickering being sucked off the energy. obviously she knew it was curse- as she liked to call it- it was though- she concentrated hard and calmed down. "Aiyla keep trying it isn't enough"her instructor exclaimed in the deep commanding voice. "Yes Valentin"she said. ----------------------------------------------------------- ✴Slight offensive language. ❇ No part of the story is meant to offend anyone, it is only for entertainment purposes. ❇ If any issues arises or any reader are offended by any sort please know that it is beyond my knowledge. ✴Please dont copy my story and characters. Chapter 1: HOODIE

Chapter: 1) Hoodie

Location: port side (somewhere) (a/n; I haven’t decided a particular place where this story takes place)

Timing: 6:30pm

Date: 16/9/1987

(ZED’S POV)

Others were running ahead of me, chasing the weakling. Judging by the physique of average height with fragile frame that boy was pretty fast, as we have spotted him at least seven to nine times that week but always have failed to catch him. The ports were wet making it slippery by waves or the rain as dark clouds were still lingering in the sky. I myself was always slow in comparison but streets have made me a good fighter. We’ve nicknamed the boy ‘hoodie’ as he always wore dark-black loose hood and was surprisingly glued to his head and a mask covering his face. In a moment or two we were out of breath and losing speed as well as hoodie from our hands. Dominic was the first one to stop and one by one all six of them were out of breath and panting for dear life. The boy didn’t even turn to spare a glance like always, he ran until out of sight. Something about hoodie gave me weird vibes.

Dominic turned and gave an eye roll to everyone. Raphael says still breathless “you growing old Dominic; babysit your grand children or something you look like a guy with asthma from five years”. “Shut up “says Dominic “you also don’t look a day over 200, you old hag”. Dominic Moritz and Raphael Augustine look alike a lot, like brothers, both 6 foot and lean and muscular apart from their hairs, like night and day; Dominic have pure raven hairs, tattoos peeking from roughly folded sleeves all over torso and Raphael is white blond by birth, piercings all over the face, two in both ears, both boys with pale skin tone. Though Raphael is from whole different country and Dominic from another, they look like brothers from same mother.

Now comes the hard part, what we’re gonna tell Elijah our boss, about it .He is already lecturing us multiple time from past week and it was becoming a daily show. This was third time this week that we were unable to catch the boy. “Well let’s just say he fell into a wagon or climbed into a boat or ship” said Markus. “We said that the third time” said lane. Cameron scoffed and others groaned at the end of reasons to tell Elijah about our incompetence. Markus Yannick was big jock type guy, with average height, bulky and lightly tanned skin with rough features of slick hairs whereas Mirac Lane is with lean physique of 5’11 with short black-brown curls. And odd one out of them is Cameron Jeremiah. He is 6 foot tall man with dark features and aura, with one to two expressions for every scenario or in the words of Raphael ‘a rude swimmer recently turned into paid assassin’ type of guy although not even one term was akin to. He was bought in the group by Elijah himself before I joined. Cameron and I were paired up by Elijah as partners in crime. He doesn’t say much and I don’t even try. This made us better friends than partners.

We all turned towards our job centre which was basically a luxury villa, named Silver crestRock, the main centre of all our business, built in lonesome away from the city. It was a large villa with great gardens and main home at the above for the boss; perks of being a mafia boss/drug lord. Everyone seems to be ready for whatever to come for the failed assignment.

Although I was very confused on how a small lanky boy was able to turn this assignment into a cat chase with six mafia men? In these six to seven days I was able to know that whoever that boy is, he is no ordinary rather a well trained. And was also confirmed that boy has something valuable to tick Elijah so much. He was very well trained that’s only explains how he knew the city like the back of his hand making him slip away easily each time. I was curious, so very curious and that is the weakness as well as strength of mine which also might get me killed or judging by current situation, murdered.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
