The alarm clock went off.

* Bring , Bring*

I opened my eyes the light blinded me: I reached out my arms trying to turn off the alarm clock but I couldn’t. I stand up flustered then threw the alarm clock to million piece it broke. I yelled, “Stupid alarm clock. shit!!” I took my phone out then looked at the time. It was showing 8:00 A.M on the phone. I said, “Oh shit, got to dress fast or I am going to be late for school.” I got dressed ran down stairs with a mess look; I tired to put my shoes, all the sudden mom said, “Jessica what about breakfast”. I put on my shoes and ran to her then said, ” Sorry mom, I got to go or I am going to be late; love you”. I kissed mom on the cheeks then rushed to the door.

I started walking to school, “oh shit, I forgot to introduce myself. where should I start; of course my name Dah... Well my name is Jessica Bella, I’m in my 3rd year in high school and age 16. I have a big secret to tell everyone....“. I looked at my phone it showed 8:30 A.M, “oh shit!, I am going to be late”, I said in a hurry. I started running to school, I made it to school; I ran up the stairs and the hallway then burst through the classroom door. My teacher stop doing attendance then looked at me, “Ms. Bella your almost late. I was about to mark you absent; now got take a seat”, he said then started pointing at my desk. I quickly responded, “Sorry Mr. Ben”. After attendance Mr. Ben started to teach trigonometry. I yawned then look thorough the window while Mr. Ben is teaching. I love looking through the window, to admire the beautiful white fluffy clouds in the sky and the two love birds flying around. In the end of class Mr. Ben gave us the unit test that we last did. Mr. Ben handed me my test. I looked at my test, 95% was written in big red ink. My friend Lucy looked at my test and proudly said, “Wow, Jessica you got a 95%. your so smart, wish I could be you”. “Well, with a lot of studying and practice you could be a genies”, I said to cheer up Lucy. “I know but...“, Lucy’s voice dimmed down in my head and started talking about her problems.

I was focused on a group of seaming girls right beside me then I eased drop on their conversation. Girl 1 said, “OMG!!, I love Bloody Love”. Girl 2 said to girl 1, ” Who’s fan are you? Ren or Zack”. “Of course Ren, I love his butler side and his eyes are so dreamy”. Said girl 1. “No way!, Bloody Love is finishing soon. Only 10 more chapters to go. it’s showing on Starlight’s blog”, sadly saying girl 3. “REALLY!!“, said girl 1 and 2 at the same time. Girl 3 showed them her phone; girl 2 said, “Aww, we loved Starlight’s book”. “I know”, said girl 3. All of the girls together said, “We will miss you Starlight, we love you!!“. I started to grin happily. “Yo Jessica. Jess.. earth to Jessica”, said Lucy that is waving her hand in front of my face. I quickly took my attention to Lucy then said’ “oh sorry Lucy”. “Na, it’s fine. By the way why were you grinning”, curiously said Lucy. “It’s nothing, I have to go to the bathroom before 2nd period start”, I said to her as I walked out of the class with a big smile and my eyes are sparkling with joy. I said to myself, “They love the book a lot. Too bad it’s ending”. Damn it, I keep on forgetting. I told you I had a big secret and that secret is I am a novelist; goes by the name Starlight. I really don’t like to use my real name. I do hate the attention so I made an alias name then made a blog. In my blog I pour out my creativity in to one book called “Bloody Love”. Bloody Love is about 2 vampire boys fallen in love with a long lost princess. One of the vampire boys is a servant and the other is destined to marry the princess; that’s what my book is about but still figuring out the end details. Anyway the book is ranked one of the best non-fiction books in the world. Well that’s my secret so don’t tell. I was on my way to the washroom I whispered to myself, “I should create another book but this time it should be about demons”.

After school I quickly went to the book store. I bought the manga series I was keeping a eye on for a while and it was on sale today. I went to the park with the manga series I bought then I started reading.

-Time went by-

I finished the whole series. I started crying then I told myself, “So beautiful. I love this manga”. I looked around me and it was dark. I quickly check on my phone; it showed 7:30 p.m. I quickly stood up then said, “OH SHIT!!, need to go home or mom will be pissed!!!“. I took my belonging then dashed home. I opened the front door then closed it softly then slowly make it to the stairs. All of the sudden someone was coughing; I looked to see . I sawed my mom pissed. I nervously said, “Hi mom “. “Don’t ‘hi mom’ me do you know what’s the time!“, mom frustratingly said. I hugged mom then said,“sorry mom, it won’t happen again. okay”. “okay, go take a shower and then dinner will be ready on the table”, said mom. “okay” I replied to mom. I went to my room then quickly to the bathroom take a shower. When I got back form a hot warming shower I went to my blog. I started reading the comment on my blog; the comments says, “You Rock, I love you Starlight and Bloody Love is awesome etc...” I started typing saying, “Thank you for being such awesome fans. I hope you continue on reading Bloody Love. Love you all!!!“. I opened up my email. I clicked on the first link that was from Sakura Publishing Inc. I started reading the email and yelled with excitement. Mom ran upstairs and bust through the door. “What happened Jessica”, mom said while her breathing was heavy. I showed her my computer then told her, “Read it”. Mom read the email and started to yell too. I was so happy that I reread the email again.

Sakura Publishing Inc said, " Dear Ms. Starlight. we want to let you know we love your novel. we want to make your novel ‘Bloody Love’ in to a manga series. well you please corporate with us and come to Japan, Tokyo. We will work on the manga series together. We will provide air plane ticket, if needed; a place to live ,if need, and we will give you 500,000 yen. please reply us back asap. from Sakura Publish Inc.”

I looked at my mom then said, “Please can I go, please”. Mom said, “Japan, Tokyo is far away from Canada.” “I know mom. I will be good and won’t do anything bad promise”. I begged. Mom was thinking deeply for few minutes then replied, “Okay fine you could go but I will need to talk to your father about this . He’s still working on a case for few days but he is coming home today night. We’ll give you an answer tomorrow”. “Okay mom”, I said with a little excitement. I ate my dinner and went to sleep.

-Next day-

I woke up got dressed and went down stairs. I sawed dad sitting in the dinning room with his daily news paper. I sat in front of him. Dad put his news paper down then started to look at me and mom came beside him. Dad said, “I heard about the email. Congrats”. “Thank you father” I replied. “I decided that you could go; in one condition you have to call us everyday. okay”, said dad as he smiled. I ran up to dad kissed him on the cheek then hugged him, “Thank you dad, mom”, I quickly said then kissed mom on the cheeks; I ran up the stairs to my room. Dad holds mom’s hand and said, “Our little girl is growing up”, with a smile. Mom replied, “Yes, she is”. I quickly open my computer. Started typing my home address. Also that I need an illustrator cause I can’t draw and a translator then sent the email. I got ready for school.

When I came home from school I quickly rushed to my room; I quickly open my computer then went to my email. There was a reply from Saurka Publishing Inc. The email say’s they appreciated that I accepted their offer, also they got everything covered, and they will send my ticket in the mail within 2 days from now; then I got the ticket for the fight and went the next day. I said goodbye to mom and dad. I said bye to Lucy; when I told her my secret she was angry at first but she was proud of me and I trust her to keep my secret. I felt so heartbroken to leave everyone I cherish behind but this is one time opportunity that I can’t miss. I got off the airplane in Tokyo. When I came out of the terminal I saw a hot tall guy with a suit that had a bored with “Ms. Starlight” written on it. I walked up to him and said, “Hello there, I am Ms. Starlight”. He looked at me with a smile then said, “Hello Ms, Starlight. My name is Sho Yamamoto. I will be your translator”. When we looked at each other you hear a air plane fly past by.
