‘Say it … you’re scared… duh’, Mazey complained. ‘Technically we won’t last a month … you know’, Hayden added. ‘First of all this ain’t about being scared or whatever, FOLKS’, Alfred justified.
They were all having decent conversation or more of an argument on the recent rumors. Mr. Zagreb had already sealed the 24 into 7 Cafeteria for the bunker dwellers in the Alpha section. And the previous day Gill was denied a bowl of corn soup after he spilled his part in an accidental collision with Marco, or that’s what Marco declared. Things have never been this crazy at least about Mr. Zagreb refusing to give some extra corn soup. He was truly the doting of all those volunteers who worked in the bunker. And as for gill, he was the one who would be supported by everyone who had a heart and claimed them Human. Gill was probably the youngest of the crew and also the most underrated or that’s what everyone speculated of him. No wonder, he was like a weak scarecrow, with greasy messed- up hair and long limbs without the hint of a muscle.
‘Hey Mil, are the rumors true or … just what rumors mean, faux’, Alfred broke the silence in the vicinity. ‘I am not quite sure, but assuming the recent evidences… something is not going good’, Milo murmured. Milo Diller is typically not the man, who would murmur at any given situation, but the idea of people starving inside the bunker, was really wearing him out … draining his energy.
Since the Recruitment Day, Milo and some other guys believed that the bunkers were the safe haven. For the first couple of months all the dwellers had to go through a phase of agony and dismayed spirit of the recent cruelty they have experienced.
Humans are probably the only species with so many shades. Everything started with an uncertain twist in the course of the history of Carbure Pharmaceuticals. After three-fourth of the people were victimized by the vital chips manufactured by the Carbure Industries under the brainchild project of the Kommunist clan.
Initially some media networks were able to give a full coverage of this massacre, but later they were all eliminated by the Kommunist’s supreme power, except the LANCE. The lance was a secret service community who prophesied the artificial crisis amidst the communal wars, very long ago.
So, they built a network of underground bunkers in the whole city of Myas in order to aid in times of need. The Kommunist clan is the ally organization of a group of typical communist powers with far-laid hopes of a world under their military domain.
Communism is the last thing one can expect in the twenty second century, and that’s what everyone believed. Men of the new century felt that communism is a myth and is best when left under the dust. But who knew that all this time a master plan was engineered against the modernist democracies.
‘I should go and check out the outposts, I have a terrible feeling inside my gut... well, probably the feeling of being insecure.’ urged Jamie. The rest of the guys didn’t even looked at him as they seemed confused and gloomy at the same time. But sometimes silence speaks of approval. ‘It’s getting late, I have to hit the bed so... if you guys would excuse.’ Toni left her seat and perched on the stairs to open the door. “I have to hit the bed so... whatever”, Mazey imitated.
‘No hatred...no hatred’, Toni murmured to herself. There was something wrong between these two from the first day they saw their faces. And it ain't only about Toni, Mazey was always the irritating type for everyone. To mention Toni, she didn’t care about the most of the guys except some few. Amongst whom only Alfred and Milo qualified.
