In the beginning
In the times after leaving high school I began to think about my life, my love life in fact. I had gotten through high school with my virginity intact and even some years after that. I was a virgin both literally and figuratively. I had never stepped out of my shell and really lived, and my family was starting to worry.
I guess it's safe to say my first boyfriend was in grade 7. There was this boy I'd had a crush on since grade 1. Let's call him Eye Guy because he had the most gorgeous eyes. We never even did much except text each other and he'd say the cheesiest things, and I would blush like crazy. It didn't last long. That was the end of Eye Guy and the end of primary school. Honestly, I had no plans of spreading my wings a little in high school. I was just never that girl. But I was excited.
I had never been the 'cool' one nor the 'popular' one but I thank the heavens that I always attracted friends who were. So even though I wasn't at the top of any social circle; I was part of pretty good ones. I made through primary school and now it was time to move to a whole new town and a whole new school.
