Today was an average thursday i was texting my friends all class period we have this group chat with all of us in it.

My teacher looked at me in silence for a minute while i looked down at my phone when i realized he wasn’t talking i looked around then looke at him “umm you may proceed” he began teaching the class without looking away from me, so i rolled my eyes and started taking notes.
Mr.Glass:Tomorrow we will be receiving a new student please welcome him with open arms and i’ll see you all tomorrow .
I walked out without paying him any mind when I seen my friends standing there outside the door looking so damn fine I walked over to them and heard them talking about a girl named Beanca she was thick in all the right places which I envied but I never liked her she was what you call a homie hoper and a home wrecker or for short a hoe Tayvion was talking about how he hit last night and I just couldn’t listen to that so I turned around on my hells before reaching them.My arm was yanked back and I was expecting to see one of my friends but it was the principal
“Miss Moore i was wondering if i could talk to you in my office” Principal Cam said with an excited expression.He hated that i called him principal cam because it’s not “professional” i’m supposed to call him Mr.Williams but i like his first name better so i gave him a nickname.
“Of course do you need to me now or at the end of the day”I said in confusion it’s rarely he calls me to his office sometimes i just walk in we are like besties but he wouldn’t say that.
“If your free now then class can wait i will call them and let them know you are with me.”Principal Cam said as he looked down at me smiling like it was exciting news or some shit
“i’ll be right there let me grab my things out of my locker”as i said walking back towards the boys since they were in front of my locker it was last period and i hated it in there i love to read and all but not on command and i have a pretty good grade in there so it wouldn’t hurt to skip a day.The boys were staring at me as i walked back over they looked at me.
Tayvion got up from leaning against my locker and looked down at me “trying to run from that ass whooping i see” he makes me smile i don’t know what it is about a bad boy but they get me everytime.I rolled my eyes and began grabbing my things.
Darnell stared at me as the other two talked I looked up at him “umm hello tf ,you look like you wanna fight and shit” I hate when people stare, well I hate a lot of things but that one really pissed me off.
He began laughing and holding his stomach “Zaniylah come in now your like what 5’2”
“boyyy wtf no i am 5’3 and a half” i looked at him like he was crazy and all he did was laugh at me.So i started walking away just because they are like 6’5 and up doesn’t mean i’m short the just some y’all ass kids.he grabbed my arm and gave me a hug and said he needed to get to class i shook up with Tayvion and Damien and went to the office.
“Hello Miss.Moore,Mr.William is waiting for you in his office” the secretary said as i walked in and straight to her i handed her a piece of paper with a name of a book on it me and her love to talk about our favorite books when i come in here with the boys for lunch “read this it’s amazing you would love it” i winked at her and made my way to Cam office.
He looked up at me as i walked in and smiled “you finally made it” i faked a laugh and sat down “Waddup Cam you never call me to your office and i slacking on my attendance again?” i tried to see what he was looking at his computer but the he just turned it around for me. I looked at the kid on the screen he was mmm fine baby like waves were visible and he pulled off a nose piercing like he was tupac or sumn he had tattoos but what caught me was his shoes people at my school don’t even like yeezys and yet hear he was with the yeezy boost 700s i’m the only one in this school with a pair.
I looked up at Cam in confusion “umm who is this what am i looking at”he was just sitting back as i studied this guy and he slowly said “you will be showing him around the school and i will give you extra credit if you agree” i looked at him like he was crazy he has people to do this people who actually signed up to do this “why me tho” he looked at me and sat up in his chair “because he picked you he said he want you to show him around and wouldn’t take no for an answer.
