Prologue
"She is not my daughter." The distraught older woman exclaims.
"But she is your daughter, this isn't right." The younger woman says trying to convince the older woman to think about leaving the baby girl in the Forbidden Forest.
"She isn't right." The older woman says in a whisper with unshed tears.
The two women walk into the Forbidden Forest that kills anything that goes in there. No one has ever come out of the forest alive.
"This is still wrong." The younger woman says with sadness in her voice because she can't bare the thought of a defenseless babe be left in the Forbidden Forest but she knows that it isn't her decision on what happens.
"I know, but I can't think of another way. If people heard that I had left a baby in an Orphanage, or find out that she is mine. I will be disowned, I can't have that." The older woman says with a shaky voice and places the baby on a pile of leaves just barely inside the Forbidden Forest.
The two women hurry there quick strides when they hear a howl.
Not the howl of a normal wolf either, it is much worse. The two women are able to get out of the Forbidden Forest just in time to be missed by the Shadow Creature.
The two women looked back into the forest and then looked to one another.
"You will keep my secret, won't you?"
"Of course I'll keep your secret, you are my best friend, I may not like this idea, but you are also my Lady." The younger woman says.
"If this does somehow get found out, promise me that you will just say that is was just a rumor and that it wasn't true. Or if you have to, say that it was yours."
"Yes, Princess Cristine." The younger woman says with a bow.
