This is a tale that of magicThis is a tale that of magick and intrigue. set firstly in County Cork in Ireland about 1830. . It focuses like threads of thread that wind together to create the plot. One is of a young unmarried woman by name of Jenny O'Neil , who was a Bean Sidhe. Every second generation the third daughter of the family inherited the gift. Her grandmother, also alive, had the gift but she too was more focused upon rescuing condemned witches, who had property and she was Jenny's mentor. The third character is a Tree Man, more of the forest than in human form, by name of Gustav Shultz, a well to do man of German descent living or did on his Estate in Baltimore USA until he was bespelled by his brother an evil Necromancer, and partial to deals with the Devil himself. Jenny resides with her mother, her younger sister and step father whom she despises, but who orders her to accompany him to Baltimore as his hostess for his many business outings and dinners. They are to stay with the Schulz's with his friend This trip will serve a purpose for it is here according to her grandmother that her next keening will take place. We enter now into a race against time, to perform the deed and to aid Gustav, whom she aids as they fight against his brother's take over bid. To aid him she has to re enact a fairy tale to break the spell, for a romance is brewing..
