Chapter 1:
Sirius perspective
We just boarded The Hogwarts express for our 4th year at Hogwarts. This summer has been amazing, I have grown so close to Remus these past few months.
James perspective
We sit in our normal compartment but Sirius is acting a little strange. I mean Remus was at my parents house everyday when there wasn’t a full moon. Of course my parents don’t have a problem with that they have a Black living in there house. I hope everything is ok with Sirius. He always enjoyed the first day of Hogwarts because it normally meant he was away from his parents. But this time he’s a little to happy, Wormtail is starting out the window watching the rain pound against it as we enter the country side. Lily walks into the compartment.
“Hello Potter.” Lily said. Closing the compartment door and sat down beside Padfoot.
“Hey Lils why haven’t you returned any of my letters I sent over the summer.” I asked.
“Oh they were from you I threw those in the fire.” Lils said.
“Oh mate when are you going to learn.” Padfoot asked.
“Learn what exactly?” I asked.
“That she doesn’t want to be with you.” Wormtail said.
“See even Wormtail gets it. Why can’t you brother.” Padfoot said.
“Why did you come in here Lils?” I asked.
“We are almost at school you better get dressed. I know if someone didn’t tell you to get into your school robes you would show up in normal people clothes.” Lils said.
I barely noticed that we were almost there. The latterns in the hall were lit and it was pitch black outside.
“Thanks Lils. Maybe my whole plan was to dress like this enter the school like a proud muggle.” I said.
“James my name is Lily not Lils I’m not your girlfriend so stop acting like it. By the way you are no Muggle.” Lils said.
She walks out of the compartment and closes the door and probably leaves to go find Snivlus. “Can you believe Lily told me I was no Muggle? I think I would make a good Muggle.” I said.
All four of us get dressed into our School robes and we wait until we pull into Hogsmead Station. Excited first years run up and down the hall to get a better look at the castle. We leave our belongings behind and head out the doors to the carriages.
First years wait patiently n no one speaking a word. Then I hear a kid ask. “How do we get sorted? I’m so nervous about that part!” The boy asked.
“You have to take this really hard test. And if you score really low.” I said.
“You take the Hogwarts express back to Platform 9 3/4.” Padfoot said.
We walk off laughing. “Nice one Padfoot.” I say. I see lily in the corner of my eye shaking her head at us. Ok I have to admit we could’ve told them the truth. But how much fun is that.
We get into our own carriage and we are off to the school. The rain has stopped by the time sorting was over. Sirius was looking at someone but it wasn’t his brother at the Slytherin table.
