CHAPTER 1
Long time ago, there lived in a village called Folaranmi, diverse clans and each of these clans has a specialized livelihood. They scattered all over this same village and occupied almost all the land of Folaranmi village. The inhabitants of this village lived in unity and carried out their transaction with ease. This peaceful living of the people of Folaranmi village encouraged other people living outskirt of their village to migrate into their village. This they did just to taste the relish of the nature–with luscious vegetation and fertile land.
One of the clans residing in Folaranmi’s village is Ogunsayo’s family. Member of this family are well to do. They grew up myriad and built many mansions which they let out to people since they have mansions already built for themselves to live in. A good deal of patrimony was on ground for the family of Ogunsayo which they too can boldly bequeath to their descendants. These and many more grand attributes made Ogunsayo’s family unique and bizarre when compared with the other clans in the village.
The occupation which everyone knows of Ogunsayo’s family was thatch-making. This livelihood earned the family extraordinary fame since thatch was used then for roofing.
