Summary

If there’s any perverse utterance… If there’s any excruciating pain… If there’s any rootless evil… If there’s any battle to fight… To strip the destiny of its luster… The cry of the destiny is capable to plead its own cause. The birth of Daniel was predestined but later became hidden and oblivious to Isaac his father. Neither Sarah nor the death of Korede, his mother could deny the fulfillment of the standing destiny. Daniel eventually saw beam of light at the end of the tunnel, having meandered from the domicile of man to the habitats of the animals; he was eventually crowned with the once conflicting diadem right in the residence of man where he was earlier driven away. Indeed, being delayed is never being denied!

CHAPTER 1

Long time ago, there lived in a village called Folaranmi, diverse clans and each of these clans has a specialized livelihood. They scattered all over this same village and occupied almost all the land of Folaranmi village. The inhabitants of this village lived in unity and carried out their transaction with ease. This peaceful living of the people of Folaranmi village encouraged other people living outskirt of their village to migrate into their village. This they did just to taste the relish of the nature–with luscious vegetation and fertile land.

One of the clans residing in Folaranmi’s village is Ogunsayo’s family. Member of this family are well to do. They grew up myriad and built many mansions which they let out to people since they have mansions already built for themselves to live in. A good deal of patrimony was on ground for the family of Ogunsayo which they too can boldly bequeath to their descendants. These and many more grand attributes made Ogunsayo’s family unique and bizarre when compared with the other clans in the village.

The occupation which everyone knows of Ogunsayo’s family was thatch-making. This livelihood earned the family extraordinary fame since thatch was used then for roofing.

Half-Claimed

Bargara4670: Half-Claimed was easy to read with a well-thought-out plot that kept me interested throughout. Many of these revenge stories seem to have the abused heroine turning into a vicious harpy who I end up disliking as much as her abusers. I like to feel empathy with the main characters, and I found that I...
