20 But while he thought on these thingsbeholdthe angel of theLORD appeared unto him in a dreamsayingJosephthou son ofDavidfear not to take unto thee Mary thy wifefor thatwhich is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a sonand thou shalt call his nameJESUSfor he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was donethat it might be fulfilled which wasspoken of the Lord by the prophetsaying
23 Beholda virgin shall be with childand shall bring forth asonand they shall call his name Emmanuelwhich beinginterpreted isGod with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of theLord had bidden himand took unto him his wife
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn sonand he called his name JESUS.
