DECLARATION OF A WAR
I have slowly begun
to open up my eyes,
slowly but surely
I am making an effort
I've been gathering courage
In bits and pieces/
to clean the blurred
mirror of my heart/
to get rid of all
the dust & ignorance
I have made my mind,
To battle against the mind
for it is the root cause
of all the instability inside
Often a lot it has manipulated me,
To take actions that are unrequired/
to crash land myself into tragedies,
Time & again it has conspired
although you are a part of me
but you aren't what I am
supposed to be,
your time is up now
& mine has come
for now I understand
the pattern you've been
following all these years,
to keep me blind & ignorant
of my own freedom
So dear mind,
I hope your are listening,
For my pair of ears are yours too,
& i hope you're able to witness as well
That no matter what, I am coming after you
