Depression
"The author really caught the emotions and the problem that the main character was having to face. The power of sadness was quite clear. The ending of the story brought so much hope though."
A gem of a short story
"The plot itself is kept simple, but it offers a range of deep topics like depression and takes a deep dive into an artist's worst nightmare when they lose their eyesight and therefore cannot practice their passion anymore. Reading through it, I didn't get bored once - it has a perfect flow and the way it's written is easy to follow. I liked the way the phrases were structured. You have a very clean, accurate style. Furthermore, the cover is awesome and I think the end was perfect. It wasn't a classical "Happy End" but it's not a "Bad End" either. The way I interpreted is that there are things you can't change (such as deteriorating eyesight) and the only thing you can do is focus on accepting the circumstance and live with the things you can't change. This was a very enjoyable read, a gem for me personally, so well done! :)"
Inspiring
"The best short story I have read so far❣ It was such an amazing and inspiring story. The writing style of the author is beyond amazing🤩 Each sentence and each word carried emotion with it which could be felt. I would like to recommend it to all those who have given up on life. A great message was conveyed that life doesn't end when you lose something, it ends when you lose yourself and that is what you don't have to do, you don't have to lose yourself🫂When life makes you fall, you just don't sit on the ground kissing it, you stand up, brush the dust off, and keep going👑"
Depression review
"This is written really well, and I can really understand the grammar and what's happening. I love how you could insert a moving story into one chapter, and a short one, and still it's a complete story that is touching."
Outstanding
"This writer says she's not even old enough to drive. Her ability to put together a well-crafted tale with proper spelling and grammar puts to shame a large percentage of work from amateur writers (I'm an amateur, too) who are out there asking for reads, scrounging for followers but they either don't have the talent of this young writer, or they're too lazy to put in the work and create quality stories for consumption. If you @ellie18 are turning out work like this now, then you've got great things in store for your writing career in the future. Hell yes - this is how it's done."
