Their guns were pointed at each other. Neither wanted to do it and they both understood that. But there was no choice. They could hear the approaching footsteps of the King. They hated it. how it had come to this but there was no escape.
''I'm sorry.'' The girl cried.
The boy closed his eyes feeling his fingers on the trigger.
BAM!
A shot.
A cry.
A scream.
The promised crack.
