"When I watched Ripper Street, I never really took a liking to Freddie Best. But reading this story, how he had touched so many lives, to read how he had been loved and had given love makes me at least not despise him as much. The writing is emotional, caring and well done. The characters of Raoul and Callum are her own. I love the interaction and tie-ins between Ripper Street characters and her own. There are a few minor spelling mistakes which can (and will) be easily fixed. If you like Ripper Street, if you like to read about romance in Victorian London all with a touch of fantasy - this is the story for you."
