Following Stardust

Do you see me,

now that the night is falling?

my lucky star?

now that the Sun is sleeping,

moving back to where it starts?

Across the world my voice is calling,

reaching out to touch your heart.

How long have I searched for you?

How long have I roamed the world?

Just to find my Stardust child,

as through my dreams you twirled.

I knew one day you'd leave me,

spreading out across the land.

I only thought that when you did,

we would be hand in hand.

But that was not the case,

and now you are long gone,

leaving me to trail behind

For now I follow the heavens,

and traverse across the sea,

until we two can meet again,
