Old acquaintances

Diana and Lea were not new faces at the Black 'N Red. Sort of habitual clients, so to speak, especially in the privee area.

So, nobody was surprised to see them early when the place was still closed to customers and only staff were working behind doors supposedly closed.

Surprising and annoying was instead seeing them skipping completely the entry check at the counter - Teeth was not happy about that - and going straight to the mezzanine where Daemon was supervising the preparations while sipping his usual martini cocktail with olive.

Fox ran behind trying to stop them but it looked quite difficult.

"I'm sorry Master, they have not been introduced..."

"It's fine. No worries", Daemon said, just lifting his eyes from the delivery papers he was checking.

"So much hurry must have a reason. Please, bring something for our what can I say... Guests"

The most alarming word in Fox's ears was that "please". Daemon was not accustomed to saying please so lightly to all of his staff.

He should not be pleased either with that intrusion.

"Do you have a dungeon?", Diana asked as she could not wait any longer

"Excuse me?" Daemon replied with a tone that sounded like meaning to say how dare you to speak to me like this among the lines.

The message seemed evidently caught as Diana calmed her rushing "We were wondering if you have a dungeon. I know there are some of them in the city but reaching the inner circles looks impossible"

"They are indeed quite reserved circles, I'm afraid", Daemon replied, sipping his cocktail, "and by the way, I do wonder if both of you have any idea of what you are looking for"

"We need to find a dungeon, we want to be involved", Lea said, quite impulsively, as usual.

Daemon burst into a laugh "sure, maybe you can get a membership", then after a sip from his glass, "I don't think it's that easy, I'm afraid"

"If not you, who can we talk to?", Fox heard Diana asking again trying to get to the point while bringing two drinks on a silver tray.

Again, Daemon raised his eyebrow and Fox knew that meant he was going to lose his temper.

"I never said I'm not that person", he said, then emptying his glass, "Leave Teeth your contacts on leaving, someone will get in touch"

"But...", was the only word the two girls had time to say

"You're welcome. Have a nice day"

There was no chance to say anything else. They left, silently.

"Bring me the cordless. It's time for Panther to meet an old friend and learn something new"

"Any specific instruction, Master?"

"Do you like hard rock music, Fox?"

"Pretty much, Master, why?"

"Find me Poison on the music archive and put it through the speakers"

"Of course", he replied, a bit puzzled, then like realizing "Poison?"

"And don't forget the cordless..."
