"I really enjoyed the sequel, even though I’ll admit the FMC tested my patience more than once. I tried to give her some grace because after everything her ex-husband put her through, it made sense that she had a lot of trauma to work through. Still, there were definitely moments where I wanted to reach through the page and shake her a little. 😂 Some of her choices had me so frustrated. That being said, I loved where her story ended up. She finally became someone who knew exactly what she deserved and wasn’t willing to settle for less anymore. I also really liked that she stuck to her decisions instead of letting herself get pulled back into the same cycle. And I was SO relieved she didn’t end up going back to her ex-husband. After the first book, I was seriously hoping the story wouldn’t take that route. Then there’s Joe. Easily my favorite character. He was such a sweetheart, patient, caring, thoughtful, and genuinely considerate of everything she had been through. She eventually found exactly the kind of man she needed, and honestly, she couldn’t have gotten luckier. Such a satisfying ending to her story, and I’m really glad she finally got the happiness she deserved."

"Like a lot of people, he made his bed and found it was no soft mattress and all hard nails. I feel for him, but I don't sorry him since he asked for it thinking he was the cock of the walk. I myself have seen many go down that road and never come back . Maybe Kade will break through for Calvin."

"I love this type of story and the author does a great job of showing us the pain behind cheating on a spouse, having the betrayed spouse still fighting for the marriage. I definitely would recommend this book series and choose to rate it with a full salute of all stars "

"I loved the storyline; it covered a lot of issues in relationships and happy endings for the one cheated on. Hopefully a new story will be written about the ex as he maybe learns a valuable lesson to take into his next relationship. Would recommend to others to read."
