Loving Till The End

I was begging and holding on to him. But he.....His eyes were fixed on the campfire and he was stirring the pot. “Adam, talk to me. I know I shouldn’t have kissed you like that. I was wrong but you know this silence is killing me. I can’t.....can’t live without you.....I love you. Please, say something!“, I cried.

“What do you want me to say, April? You know you can’t have me, He snapped but lowered his voice a bit. He took my hand in his. His eyes were glimmering with tears begging to be follow out. he said, “I wish I could have you but....I won’t make you sacrifice everything, everything you have to just be with me. I want you to be happy. I don’t want for you to regret your decisions. I live to see you smile. I lived all my life in fear. Dreading they would find me. I can’t let you live every single day of your life in fear.” He closed in and held my face in his hands.

A tear escaped my eye. He whipped the tears that followed with his thumb. A warming and electrifying wave travelled through me. I put my head on his broad chest. I knew, I wanted him, from the first moment I set my eyes on him. He is stubborn. He would never let be close to him. I saw through the mask he put on. I knew he wanted me. He feared but he yearned for liveliness.

I answered, “If you think, I’ll be happy living with people who call themselves my relations, make me happy. Then, you’re wrong. I never wanted more than someone who actually cared about me. I hate them and their damm society. I love you because I know you care about me. I would still love even you would never say that back. If you would be cold towards me, I’ll still love because I love the person inside you, the real you. My every breath with you is like a heaven. My life is with you, Adam. Please let me stay with you.....” I had no strength left in me. I started crying and hitting his chest. He was stunned at first but then he collected me in his arms, close to his heart. He said, “Who said I was saying for you to leave? I was just letting you see what you’ll have to face. If that’s what you want then remember, life of death, I’ll never let you leave. And neither will I.” He creased the top of my head.

I looked into his eyes and sais, “I swear I’ll never leave.”

A devilish smile spread upon his face and he questioned, “Well, swearing are we. I think you need a little punishment. Don’t you think?”

I put in a confused face, even though I knew what he ment. His words alone quickened my heartbeat.

“What kind of punishment?”

He grinned, “I’ll tell after dinner.”

I nudged him. “No, tell me now. Dinner can wait.”

“As you say.” With that he grabbed me and kissed me. I soon melted in and kissed him back. His hands were roaming my body. Second later, we ended up on the ground. Then, then all that could be heard were the grunt and screams of pure bliss and happiness. I slept that night like I never had slept before. I was with my love and life, Adam. I am looking forward to all we will share together. I blushed at the thought of having a family to look after. I snuggled up to him and soon sleep overcome me....
