Prologue
Away from the vestiges of civilisation, hidden amongst towering mountains and an eternal fog so thick that not even the light of the Sun could pass, laid a temple untouched by man. Until now that was. Several airships laid anchored to the ground around temple as rows upon rows on soldiers went back and forth, taking any and all valuable not chained to the ground.
A man watched this with a unfold atop the bridge of the largest airship of the fleet with a cold expression. He was older man in his 50s and he wore a thick coat similar to those worn by high ranking officers. However, the insignia that was supposed to be etched on the left sleeve had been torn out, marking him as a deserter. A saber laid on his hip secured in a sheath attached to a belt. The scars visible from his hands and face spoke a silver of the mans story.
A knock suddenly came from behind him followed by a man opening the door to the bridge. The newcomer wore a similar uniform as the other man however it was less adorned symbolising his lower rank.
"It is done General. The fleet will be able to depart momentarily." he spoke softly.
"Good, how goes the search for the rest?" The General asked as he turned to face his subordinate, his expression unchanged.
"The scribes are still in the middle of decoding the texts but they have narrowed down the search to the valley on the outer fringes of the one of the nations of the Coalition."
"Which one?"
".............." the subordinate fell silent at the Generals question as he uncomfortably stared at the ground.
"Which one, Mr Araine?" the General asked once more with more force in his voice."
"Oswar. Sir. " Araine replied with a quivering voice.
Pin drop silence followed soon after as the previously stoic General slowly scowled at the name. He clenched his fist as blue translucent light emerged from it. An angry torrent of wind surrounded the General making Araine fear for his life as he knew just how much the mere mention of that nation angered his superior. Hence why he was so hesitant to even speak of it.
The wind disappeared as soon as it appeared as the General finally managed to rein in his anger. He looked around the bridge which had been turned into a mess. Before turning his back to Araine.
"Have someone clean this up. And send a scout ship to Oswar. Have them search for the temple in secret. We can't let them discover us. Not now, not when we are so close." He said with finality. Araine saluted the General before briskly walking out of the bridge, leaving the General alone once more.
