She let out a sigh.

"I will be downstairs get ready " she said and with that she left my room .

I stared at the

‏ceiling, it was dirty and wet It is very cold

here in Bronx. My mother and I have been living in this neighborhood since I was little Life is difficult here , she works to provide a better future for me. Although she is suffering from her disease , I told her that I wanted to stop going to school to help her . But she always rejected the idea by saying to me this is not gonna happen.

I don't understand why but , she knows better than me , she always cares about me and she was always there for me even tho sometimes I complain and she sometimes gets on my nerves , she still the realest person on my team I actually owe her a lot .

My dad was in his late fifties I don't know if I should talk about him but he was really cruel towards us he was stingy , arrogant, everything was bad about him , he was causing us so many problems and people always complained about him , my mom and I didn't know what to do.

One day everything changed I don't know if I should say for the better but it changed my dad was gone for so many days we thought that something happened to him !!

I can't believe that my mom went out to look for him after what he did to her . To US !!

I've always hated him. Dads supposed to protect their daughter to always love them to get them whatever they need but my dad was the complete opposite.
