Chapter 1 Skerly feelings

Three weeks passed, and Dragoen and his friends arrived in Goldport; Dragoen was sitting on the porch of his hillside house, reading quietly. Dearon was in town in her dragon form, trying to scout for initials and look for out-of-place charters.

Sparon returned to Dragon City thow this teleport portal he set up; Starlight was in Gortport doing some much-needed shopping. Skerly still ignored colbolt and didn't talk much, but she sat on the railing opposite side of Dragoen, leaning against the pillar with one foot on the railing and the other dangling off, looking up at the sky, lost in thought.

Meia hadn't spoken to Deraon or Dragoen since the night she slapped him, unsure how to bring it up as Dragoen brushed it aside after the night when she tried to talk to him about hosting a child for Deron.

Meia was in the kitchen making and preparing food for everyone, as cooking was one of her hobbies, and she was good at it. Meia learned a lot from Cassy about cooking and gardening during her short time onboard the Cassy Ann.

Colbolt was in the rear yard training with Andrew, sparing because he was bored, and Andrew wanted to do some training to prepare himself for the next battle. He also worried about Dragoen and Dearon, as Dearon is a wanted criminal in Gordport after he learned from the guards who patrol the city. Dearon, being in her standard form, alerted them because she had broken out of her seal.

Dearon decided to stay in her Dragoen form to keep the city guards off her tail and avoid any problems hindering Dragoen's plans. Bill came to visit from time to time. On his last visit, he and Captain Killalot were departing Gordport to sail on a personal mission and a Request from the king of GoldPort, who also wanted to speak with Dragoen once he returned.

Skerly was going thow an emotional phase. She couldn't understand why she was so angry and got moody. However, she self-released around Dragoen and started to trust him. Her attitude toward Dearon changed, and she sometimes pets Dearon on the head.

Later on that evening, Meia was in the kitchen alone at the table in front of a dim candle. Wend Dearon returned, flew through the open window and transformed, then sat at the table across from Meia and plunked her head down in his hands and said This sucks. I feel like a prisoner in my own home!

Meia, you are the one to talk to! Let me. I'm trying to grant your wish, and I can't even get Dragoen to do it with me! Am I really that ugly? Dearon blew on a strand of hair that covered her face and said You don't have to do it. I'm not forcing you, Meia!! Just don't push yourself on Dragoen. It won't be bold. Well, trust me on that. Dearon sat up, leaned back in her chair, and tilted her head towards the window with a sad look of boredom.

Meia said I know, Dearon, it's my choice. It's just that Dragoen wants to give you a child, but he doesn't want to drag me into it. He told me it didn't feel right, like he was betraying you. Dearom smiled, chuckled sarcastically, and said, " Betray me, huh? Funny, I thought it was the other way around. Dearon had a sad look as she dropped her head, and Meia said It's not funny, Dearon! I mean it; I want to do this! Meia gently slammed her hand on the table, almost snuffing out the candle.

Dearon got up and said No, mean, I was being serious. It's my fault. You have to do this. I screwed up. People got killed because I was being naive, thinking I was doing the right thing. I betrayed Dragoen got punished. For it! Meia was shocked and didn't know what to say as Dearon's face gave a look that gave Meia the chills; Dearon turned to leave and said I don't deserve Dragoen. Dearon walked out of the kitchen.

With that, Meia sat alone once agen and felt even worse. Meanwhile, Skerly stood outside the Kitchen window and heard the whole conversation. Skerly knew all too well the feelings of both girls. Meia then smashed her fist on top of the candle, destroying it, splatting wax all over the table, and yelling, " Daim it!

Skerly had a feeling of guilt running over her, so she got up and walked away towards the boat dock. She didn't see Dragoen returning to the house carrying a large fish over his shoulder and bumping into him. Dragoen said Skerly, you're typically inside. What's up? Skerly's emotions were amiss, but she told Dragoen, I want to try something. Do you mind? Dragoen said Alright, what's on your mind.

Skerly said the dam. Sage tossed me into the eternal fountain, the underworld, and I'm trapped in this 13-year-old-looking body. It's pissing me off, but I must know if I'm able to have children or not. It's bothering this piss out of me; I can't even look at colbolt. Dragoen raised his eyebrow and said Try that, will colbolt. I'm sure he is better suited for it. He is your partner.

Skerly sighed and said Colbold can't reproduce. He's a spirit. It's impossible to have children with a sealed spirit, so I'm asking you for help with this matter. Dragoen said Why me, Skerly? I'm sure there is someone better fitted. I'm not the type to do it with anyone. I just don't want to take advantage of you.

Skerly said I couldn't trust anyone. Are you the only one not in a relationship, or are you dating Dearon? Dragoen sighed and said Dearon, a dear friend. We did it a few times, but that's to keep her from losing her sanity. Dearon's mind is confused and tormented by past traumas; I feel I betrayed her and her sister. I want the sisters back the way they once were.

Skerly heart sank in her chest. Hearing this made her think about her past. Skerly said you helped me. Let me do this. I want to forget these emotions, and I have no one to turn to. Please help, Dragoen said, looking down at Skerly and said after a long moment Very well. Skerly said Keep this a secret. The last thing I need is more bullshit and another Sage rent. Dragoen said Sage can be annoying, but she cares weirdly.

Skerly said Annoying is an understatement. Dragoen and Skerly returned to the house and had sex in secret with no one knowing. Skerly got her to answer. After Starlight told her she couldn't have children, which angered her and made her hate Starlight to her core. Skerly lost her mind with Starlight, Full of rage, and punched Starlight in the gut so hard she flew thow the front door into the yard like a bolt of lightning. Skerly pounced from the doorway like a wild cat landing on starlight, and beat on in a fit of rage until Dragoen had to forcibly pull Skerly off Starling and layed on Skerly all night to cool her down. Skerly's anger was overwhelmingly strong, a vengeful feeling that would taunt Skerly.

Dragoen slept with Skerly, having no other choice that night, to keep her from killing Starlight in her sleep and ended did everything in his power to keep Skerly from going insane with rage Dragoen feeling uneasy about it had the support of everyone who suggested him keeping her in his room doing anything to make scure Skerly 's wavering heart returns to mormel Skerly was very grateful towards Dragoen from that point on and felt at peace around him, but this annoyed Colbolt for some reason, yet he thanked Dragoen countless times at the same time for his help.

Colbolt knew Skerly's heart all too well and was ashamed of himself for being powerless to do anything, and felt guilty for Starlight, who she knew had good reason for what she did despite his warnings.
