Eight Months Later

Meredith's POV

0

"Amon! Hurry! We have to get going or we'll be late!" As much as I love that man, he can really take his sweet time.

"Yes my love I'm coming! I don't see why we are in such a rush, it's only a basic doctor's exam." If only he knew!

"I don't like being late honey, it makes me feel tardy and unprofessional!" I could almost hear his eyes rolling as he got his shoes on.

It has been eight months since Judgement for Tyreel, nobody has heard or seen any trace of him since his escape. All of Hell, and even Heaven's angels are searching the whole planet for him. Killian had a sit down with Michael the archangel and they both agreed that they would settle their differences if it meant finding Tyreel.

"Okay baby, I'm ready!" He walked over looping one arm around mine and we flashed to the back of the hospital. I always experience slight dizziness when we flash, but nothing could have prepared me, or Amon for the contents that were emptied out of my stomach. After I hurled up every bit of food I had, I apologized to Amon because I had gotten sick on his shoe.

"That's okay baby, it's not something humans are overly accustomed to. Let's get you cleaned up and we'll check in." Ugh, he's so great! Doesn't even get mad when I vomit on his shoe. What a wonderful beastie I have found myself.

Amon and I check in for our appointment, I get my gown on, the nurse gave me a blood pressure test, and some routine questioning.

"Thank you Ms. Russo, the Doctor will be in to see you in a few minutes here." She left and Amon wasted no time trying to question why we're here.

"Meredith, this is no routine check up, what's going on?" His brows furrowed at me and I squirmed under his stare.

"It's just a check up baby, nothing is going on." He quirked an eyebrow but didn't push any further.

The door opened and a tall slender man walked in, he had black hair, thick lense glasses and his coat went down to just before his knees. He looked awkward as he moved around the small room.

"Ms. Russo! How are we feeling today?" A huge geeky grin was spread on his face and it made me feel more at ease, Amon's got some big news coming his way and I've been nervous as hell waiting for him to find out.

"I'm good, a little dizzy and I just got sick outside, my poor fiance's shoe took the brunt of it!" We both laughed as Amon simply rolled his eyes at us.

"Well let's see, hmm, okay well that explains the dizzy spells and nausea! Have you take a home test prior to this?"

"Yes, that's why I made my appointment, so I am?!" My eyes began to well up as Amon looks from myself to Dr. Stevenson.

"Meredith? Do you have something to tell me?"

"Baby, I'm pregnant! I found out a few nights ago! I hope you're excited!" He just stared at me with his mouth wide open.

"Baby are you kidding!? I'm over the moon!" He scooped me up and spun me around hugging me only tight enough to be sure not to hurt his now known baby.

"Okay Ms. Russo! We should go over some things, it looks like you're only about five weeks right now. Be sure to drink plenty of water, small frequent meals. Do you have a birth plan?" I shook my head. "Well you're still fairly early so don't think on it too much, we want your stress levels low okay? I see you have had a miscarriage, how far along were you?"

"Six months..." I hung my head and Amon gripped my hand.

"I'm sorry ma'am, I won't ask any further questions regarding that unless necessary. Okay, it looks like you are all set! Come back in about oh, seven weeks? That will leave you around twelve weeks and we can do our first ultrasound. That sound good?"

"Yes, thank you so much Dr. Stevenson, we'll see you in a few weeks!" He left and I gathered our things, I could feel Amon's eyes on my every move.

"Why didn't you tell me about this Meredith?"

"I wanted to surprise you, I hope you're not upset I didn't tell you.. I just really wanted to see your reaction when you found out!" I smiled as big as I could and gave him a huge smooch on the cheek.

"If that's the case well then yes I was very surprised, you're carrying my child, and our future heir to the throne. You've made me the happiest demon in Hell baby, and I can't wait to put a ring on that finger!" We kissed once more and flashed down to our quarters where we prepared to enlighten his parents about what our news is.

My Nonna left Earth and came to Hell to be with us. It got very lonely for her after I left so she persisted that I let her stay with us. She took to Hell quite gracefully, befriending Killian and Veluna immediately. We gathered everyone around as we passed out individual gifts that I had prepared the day I found out I was with child. They each opened their gift to reveal a plain white t-shirt that said Hell's favorite grandparents.

"Oh Meredith! I'm so happy for you! Congratulations!" My Nonna jumped up giving me a huge hug followed by Veluna. Killian gave a loud laugh and gave Amon a hard clap on his back.

"Amon my boy! Congratulations son, I'm proud of you!" The happiness in the room overwhelmed me with joy and tears fell from my eyes.

"Meredith, are you okay?" Amon asked me with concern written all over his face.

"I'm fine baby, I'm just really happy!" We kissed and joined the celebration.

"Your Highness! We've found him!" An older looking gentleman came bursting through a door and ran up to him, barely stopping enough to bow.

"Are you sure Glendool?" Killian asked, and Glendool nodded.

"Father, it's Tyreel?" Killian nodded in return.

My heart began to pound heavily and I felt a dizzy spell approaching.

"Amon I need to-" I hit the floor and felt several hands trying to pick me up. Then I fell into unconsciousness.
