"The author broached a very difficult subject but did it with care and understanding. Liam is a man in a million. So glad i read this"
Great story
"Really good story. Granted it had an intense rape scene I’m glad that she chose to fight back and didn’t let her relationship with the monsters family affect her. I also loved the dynamic with Liam and Emerson because even though he knew what happened he never pressured her to tell him nor did he try and force her hand. I loved how she slowly but gradually got back on her feet on her own and with Liams help. Because many rape victims don’t get that luxury and they are left more broken then before. This book was more than a romance it was a book of a woman who was raped, became a victim and then came out victorious in the end to reclaim her mind, body and soul."
Emerson & Liam
"You do such a great job of handling a very tough topic and bringing awareness to it. The trauma the lead character experiences could have literally killed her. Yet, love and the tender compassion of a man helps her overcome her nightmares and move forward. A very well- written and moving story"
Quick read

Paradise Lost and Paradise Found
"What a beautifully written, powerful story. Truly loved it even though it made me cry several times. I admire the frank yet not disgustingly graphic way you wrote about her assault and focused the details on her healing."

Standing for your rights
"This is my third book from this author. Of all the three this one really strikes me. The author did well on telling on how hard it is to be a victim and that it is not easy to move on. That help is needed and you don't have to face it alone. No one deserves to be abused. It's a short story but it's worth reading it. "

"I'm so wrapped up in this story. The story was so sweet. Liam is a true hero and dream but she is fighting against him. Her attack and rape was devastating. You portrayed it flawlessly. Including the debacle of facing Kent in court."
wow
"This is such a well written, thought out story. It is awesome to see the main character, who went though that type of trauma, fight to take back her life, fall in love and start such a loving family."

"A very powerful and emotional story. The author has written about something most people would not want to read. Emerson the woman in the story is about her fight to overcome her ordeal from rape. If you read this story you will find it is done very well and you follow her journey through it all. I have nothing but respect for how the author has written this and I am glad I read it."

Terrific Idea
"Writing about a rape victim is always a good thing to bring awareness to all of these issues. I do have some issues, though. Speking from someone who's been there and helped others, here are a few points: 1. 3 days is simply not enough time to start exploring. 2. Whatever great intent a man might have, I've yet to meet a rape victim that comfortable with a strange man handling them while they are out and naked. 3. Most of us tend to cover ourselves almost excessively so no one will look at us and get ideas. 4. I don't think I've ever heard of a rape victim see anyone as attractive and think about what might have been before they were raped, because you don't tend to want any man/woman looking at you with any appearance of interest. Anyone touching you without warning tends to make you jump in fear. 5. She would need pads because she would likely be bleeding for several days afterward. 6. The shame and humiliation follow you for a long time beyond the first few days, and those first days, those feelings consume you. Of course, everyone's experience is different, but there are some general things that tend to be universal. The physical effects take days/weeks to heal, the mental health issues can last a lifetime. That kind of betrayal makes it extremely hard to form new connections with people. I would have never gotten on a boat with a strange dude 3 days after a brutal rape because you're terrified of everyone. Women, if you're a chick, not so much as men, who are all a threat, except perhaps the police officer/doctor/family member/close friend whom you are comfortable with. Just some things you might want to keep in mind. Like I said, everyone is different, but the time span you've set does not feel right at all."
