Chapter 1
30th July, 2001
“The breeze of the dawn had secrets to tell you
While the shine of the sun had love to give you.
Where do i go, what do i choose,
For, the secrets of the dawn and shine of the morning did nothing but abuse.”
The morning was as normal as it could be. Sophia came along today after 11 years of my wait, on the same friendship day we got apart. George was constantly telling me that she wouldn’t just come back but I was confident enough that she would return. There she was, at first I was astonished that it was her, unable to believe my own eyes. She wore a black t-shirt along with blue jeans and had a black fur jacket on. The jacket looked a bit over-sized, exactly the way she always liked,and suited her perfectly.
It was just her. The same Sophia I saw 11 years back. She ran towards me from a distance, and hugged me panting heavily. It was incredulous! These were the words that were going on in my mind.
’ i just can’t believe that we are together, but if I’m dreaming, let me sleep forever.”
Oh my god! It was unbelievable. Sophia coming for me! Hugging me! Such a great feeling ever. I was never so happy. After a while, we sat down on the floor and started to discuss how well we were doing. We talked about who we started to cope up with, after that disastrous thing 11 years ago. Surely all of us had to crank up to new lifestyles facing the worst struggles ever.
But the thing that hurt me the most is people telling me that I was dreaming!
That Sophia,George, Mike and joy never came up. It’s just my imagination, since I have been stuck here in the caves for a long time.
I need to find an answer to this.
